We already know the release date but we are working out a two parts gameplay video to put the release date on it. The first gameplay video will come very soon and part two will come in January. It shows some of the many interactions you can do in FM. Part one will be combats, fights, enemies types and bosses interactions. Part two will be exploration, puzzles, riddles and other scenery/environments interactions. And then the final promotional video that shows a bit of everything including characters and cinematics. You will love it.
@JBRUU, In average 15 hours. It will possibly take you more or less depending how good you are solving complex puzzles/riddles. Almost every element of the level design behaves randomly except for progression items (keys, puzzle items, main quests). Enemies spawn in different places and sometimes they don't even spawn at all and it makes the experience very unique every time you start a new game. All elements are serialized, which means that even if some enemies spawns randomly, once you kill it, it won't spawn anymore. But the fact is that sometimes killing foes triggers others foes somewhere else. It's a complex linked random behavior which makes enemies unpredictable. That's only for the spawning part. Their behaviors also are hard to pattern, as their inner states also have some sort randomness which make them hard to predict what they will do. We are also thinking in adding in a future update a mode where everything including key progression elements will be random. For example, you find the master key in the lounge room but the next time you start a new game, that same item will be somewhere else (kind of Arrange mode of RE1). Even the clues that gives you hints where that item can be will be on a different place. But yeah, not for the first version of the game, version 1.1 or an other major update. We also happy to announce continuous support and updates to FM after it releases, in form of extra episodes, characters and other fun stuff. We going to support it for a long time.
Really appreciated, you won't be disappointed when you play FM. Our goal is to give iOS players (and specially survival horror fans) a killer iOS game they won't forget. Oh yeah, you'll need about 2.5-2.6GB of free space in your iDevice to play FM. Warm regards from Psychoz Team!
Wow, sounds amazing, can't wait to play it. So is the game completed? Have you secretly sent it in for review and waiting to release?
Not yet, There still some areas in the game that needs gameplay elements other places needs polish and refinement (like where the events takes place, their timing to be triggered, etc). In other words, some LD elements needs to be added/tweaked. There's also some cinematics to be integrated (they are being cleaned up by the time we speak). We've however finished our framework (F.O.G) so yeah, there's some bit of work to do but it's really nothing compared to what have been done. Cheers,
It's been getting a bit more use with Persona 4, Need for Speed, and Sine Mora. Just picked up Oddworld, too. But the fact is that I am much more likely to play a game if it's on iOS.
Some parts of it. Remember it's just a showcase, not en entire walkthrough, otherwise there wont be nothing left for you to play when the game came out. Cheers,
So the game will be a doozy in terms of how much memory capacity it takes up... isn't there a limit from Apple on games not crossing the 2 GB mark? Or is that an ancient and/or untrue stipulation?
Currently the only imposed limit by Apple is the iTunes (compressed) size. Once the data is installed and uncompressed is up to the user.
Yawn yawn yawn Ppppppromises pppppppromises Tato SAID the release date would be revealed by the end of THIS YEAR Not many days to go now until we have ANOTHER false promise Anyone can go on and on about something but it doesn't mean it's going to happen. If he said he doesn't know a release date then ok but he doesn't say that. Just false promises. The Game will be outdated before its released as new devices are coming out It was he said going to be on the iPhone 3GS and now we are on iPhone 5. I said from the start IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN Simples Sometimes in life you have to get something out before its too late. Personally ( my personal OPINION) there isn't a game just a load of waffle
@Idgeian, What do you mean from the start? You've just joined (Nov 2012). If you follow the thread carefully you'll see that I've been giving people's updates about the game almost every week. I never promised we will release the game on Dec 2012. I've been clear that Dec 2012 was our target goal not a definitive release date and said that we won't give a release date till we find the game is close to be finished.
Pardon TATO YOU SAID YOU WOULD GIVE US A RELEASE DATE BY THE END OF THIS YEAR I'm commenting on what you said You said you would give us a release date by the end of this year. You have THREE days to kerp your promises AND Two things. If everyone who gives there opinion that isn't to your liking gets banned then that's not the best forum in the world is it And to the crazy guy who said keep opinions to yourself. That's NOT how a democratic opinionated world works. Reviews are opinions. Discussions are opinions. Comments are opinions For example saying I think it will be a great game etc is your opinion as your dad wouldn't like it. Opinions are what makes us all different
