My latest score isn't very legitimate. I got 4 million points in a single level, then just sort of speed ran through the levels to see how deep I could get. It's a pretty big exploit, will notify the dev. I got to level 200. I don't think there's any new enemies past the pink reapers.
A tutorial would be nice. Bought the game because it looked fun, but I don't know how to really play.. I may have missed the tutorial button though...

Hey, the update just went into review, finally! Hopefully will be approved and released very soon. Now I just really really hope I managed to squash that bug good and proper.
It's only a teensy little update, nothing exciting: Version 1.0 would crash at load on anything running iOS 3.. 1.0.1 *should* work on that now. That was the reason for the immediate update. Some people also had a bug where the game would stop their music from playing, or the game's sound would die if their phone rang. That should also be fixed. And I swapped the positions of the Quit and Resume buttons on the pause menu to try to minimise accidental quitting. The next update, which won't be for awhile yet, will be bigger and much more interesting.
The sound bug is the only slightly annoying thing (and you seem to have it fixed now). Everything else is just pretty perfect to me. You owe me a lot of hours already! Thanks for the quick update. One suggestion: Instead of just quit / resume you could also implement a restart button, since that's what I'm doing every second minute
Apple, unfortunately, seems rather slow at this sorta thing, which is pretty annoying. It's SO much easier with PC stuff... just upload and BAM it's ready. With the iStore, it's upload, and wait.... wait......... wait, maybe it's gonna.... nope.... wait..... wait..... and so on. That they probably get 80 bazillion submissions a day surely doesnt help. Anyway, this game really seems pretty much bug-free as far as I can see. The one bug I'm aware of is the one where fruit doesnt actually vanish right. They'll disappear if left alone long enough, but the game still registers them as being there, so you can still grab them for points. Other than that, I havent seen any real bugs.
How is it an exploit exactly? Meaning you can rack up a ton of points in an easy level and cruse through?
Yeah, the ghost which comes to chase you away after awhile just isn't scary enough! And certain levels which are sometimes generated are extra conducive to massive point scoring. Some people have been able to get waaaaay more points than anyone else (I haven't even managed it myself, seems really hard). Anyway, these things will change in the next update. >:O In other news.. Does this mean the leaderboards will be reset to make it fair? Otherwise the point exploiters will always be unbeatable, when a balancing update is released.
Yep, my current plan is to - when the update comes out* - retire the current leaderboards into a v1.0 hall of fame (it'd be a shame to just delete them) and have fresh new leaderboards for the new version. It makes sense becaues as well as re-balancing some things there will likely be some new enemies etc. This isn't going to happen for awhile yet though.. still plenty of time to get in the hall of fame before it's frozen forever! * Note for anyone who hasn't read the previous posts/pages: I'm talking about a future update here, not the bugfix one which just came out.
