    News on upcoming version

Well, there are good news and bad news.

I'll start with the bad news:
We'll be out of office for the rest of the week.

    The good news:
We did manage to get all levels and new features in place, and the binary was uploaded today. :)
BUT... the new version has only been tested breifly and while things look good so far, it needs more testing and thus we have NOT passed it on to Apple's review team just yet.

I'll be spending several hours on a train tomorrow (Thursday) and will continue the testing, and if everything looks good I'll pass it on to a (very) limited beta group.
If we bump into any issues, the submission will have to wait until next week. Otherwise, I'll pass it on for review on Friday.

A quick recap on what to expect:
    - A new world with slightly more "complicated" mechanics and higher difficulty than previous worlds
    - A new category of power-ups (can be used on previous worlds too)
    - "Show best path" feature (Premium users only)
    - And a secret little feature ;)

The only bad thing is that if we bump into even the silliest little issue (which occasionally happens with beta builds), I won't be able to quickly fix it and upload another build this week.

But yeah, I really think you'll enjoy the new levels and features no matter if it's another week away or not. :)

The thing is, I *LOVE* working with our games, so being out of office almost feel like a punishment. :p

It's great when people love what they are doing! Glad to hear you do, too.
And looking forward to the new update.
Good I'm a premium user lol :) one question though, the paths will be shown only for the levels passed through after update? Or for already completed, too?

Krolis: Regarding the best path feature...

Naturally, for any new level, you just have to reach the goal once to be able to turn on the "show best path" option.

For an old level that has been completed earlier, you have to score a goal with just as many (or fewer) kicks than your old record. It wouldn't be right to display a best path that is actually worse than your old record.

If you start off of an old checkpoint and score a good goal, the path will be drawn from there.

Each shot in the path is individually marked with a little bubble indicating the sequence. So a complete path from start to finish always start with shot #1.
But if you resume from an old pre-v1.02 checkpoint and beat the record, you might end up with a path that starts at shot #3 ;)

And now you just have to measure each shot's curve to display the "shortest" path

Can we see angle and speed of a shot?

Displaying angle and speed would end up in screenshot sharing like Cat Physics. I am not a big fan of this idea ...

You'll only see a lined up path, similar to Cat Physics.

I'm with cyan on this one... I think displaying the exact angle and power used on each shot in the best path feature would be giving away too much info.

Hi all, impressive work on all these levels! I was hoping to find something to improve, but it looks like everything is maxed #.

I've spent hours on 2-9. Congrats to Matt on that one. The only ball I can get over with is the golf ball, but it doesn't have quite enough bounce left to reach the goal.
