Keeping an eye on this. I really wanna give it a go, but impressions so far have kinda put me in the wait line.
This is the first 'touch' version I've had of FM as I'm lucky enough to own an Air2 capable of running it now. Personally, I think its amazing. I'm in awe of how they have basically crammed the FULL FM experience into a tablet. Its a dream come true to have it on the move. I've not really had any faults - no crashing, no lagging (in fact, it runs like a dream - probably faster than PC version). Technically, it has to be one of the most impressive games ever released on a tablet.
I'm noticing my iOS 10.1 iPad Pro 9.7 run really hot within 10 minutes. Doesn't have to be running a match, either, ust the day to day management parts. The other issue is that the battery drains very fast as well. It's brilliant as a port though, I love it, while the tablet stays not hot... Reported it to SI community bug section. Others reporting it as well. -dj
Just use my iPad 4 to view the screenshot on App Store. The text and UI still a little bit small. For player that using iPad Mini 2/3/4 to play this game, do you feel the small UI buttons are easy to control well? I wanna buy iPad Pro 9.7'' or iPad Mini 4 to play this game and the upcoming Total War Rome release in this thursday. For me, iPad Mini is much portable than iPad Pro 9.7''.
Game is brilliant, really well done this year. Runs snappy on the 9.7 pro, but the 3D match engine can drop frames from time to time. Man, outside of slitherine, no one is really making games with this kind of depth for a fixed price. Definitely worth the purchase though.
What iOS version are you on? Mine is 9.3.4, and I get a crash on my iPad Pro 9.7 during every match. No other apps running, iPad reset, and plenty of storage.
Oh yeah! It actually stopped crashing with the last update and my accidental update to iOS 10. Hopefully, this update will allow older iOS's to run better for other people though. Thanks!
