Release Notes above Could you describe the Boost bug in more detail? Do not think we fixed this one Draft is fixed in v1.1
When I go to the bench and click on a player, My game crashes. I definitely have more than 50 on my bench, will the update delete them for me?
Could you send me Private Message with your GameCenter account name so I can see what is going on? Thank You
What do you mean by take a look at what's going on? And will any data be lost? And again, can you tell me if the update will delete the extra bench players for me? Thanks
No data should be lost. And no matter how big your bench is, the game should not crash. I want to take a look at your account and try and fix the issue so you or other players will not have to experience this bug again Please email: [email protected] Include your GameCenter account name please We will get this fixed!
If I use a boost card that i have multiple of, its not just for one game. It stays used until there are no more left.
Just wondering about the bench players cap. I don't think it is a good idea. I understand that the intention is to improve the performance and reduce lagging caused by big bench as previously mentioned by someone in this thread. But there are too many downsides to doing this. I am in a hurry when I write this so hopefully it make some sense. Firstly, one of the game's attraction for me is collecting cards, especially the collector cards. I would like to be able to keep the cards that I like and the cap clearly limit me in doing so. And I don't know how many of the collector cards are there in the game but I definitely will keep a copy of each that I got or will get. Not sure if the cap will allow me to collect all of them now. Secondly, this will certainly discouraged players to expand their squad once they are satisfied with their team + 50 bench players. They would then just play to pay for the contract extensions and not to get new players. As the results players may get bored easily once they reach this point. Because the cap limits our ability to mix and match and try different combinations. I understand that 50 may be plenty but I just don't like the idea of this. I also understand in real life roster is also capped but this game is also a Card Colllecting Game. Hence, I would like to be able to collect as many cards as I can/want. I am okay with the idea of cap, if you introduce an album type thing that records the cards that we have obtained. And maybe this album allow us to buy that player back, even if the cost has been heavily marked up. Similar system that pocket frogs has. I am not mad or anything just want to let you know my opinion. Keep up the good works
Yeah, I am bummed about this too. This is mostly a technical support issue, to be honest. Most issue we have seen happen when users have large benches of players. People keep buying decks and are not managing their bench, then it becomes a nightmare to deal with and debug if something goes wrong. Hope its not too big of a bummer. Oh yeah, the new interface to sell players is awesome and quick. I think you are going to like this part! And yes, we need a way to see what cards you have already seen/collected! Someday, hopefully soon!
This is a disappointment for me because i like collecting the cards. In the long run people are going to stop buying packs because they know they won't have room and don't want to bother "cleaning". Is it possible to change the bench interface? So maybe you click on it and it shows the teams they're on and you can click on them each to view. Or you click on it and it shows buttons for every single position(which would be a lot more organized). Then at this point you can put in the 50 card limit for each category if you feel necessary?
I really enjoy the game but I also enjoy collecting the cards. I have been lucky to get some collector's cards like Jamaal Charles Bronze and Aaron Rodgers Bronze. I won't be using these cards for the play because their stats are just bad. But I would like to keep them in my possession. With the cap, this would mean that I would waste some spots for this non competitive yet rare cards. This is my only problem with the cap system. This is why, if you can introduce an album/catalog system which records the cards that we have obtained I would be happy and would have no issue with the cap. Because I no longer have to keep the cards in my team as they are already in the album. And if we can re-buy the players in this album that would be even more awesome, and you can mark up the buy back price to prevent abuse if you want. Again, I understand that the cap is introduced for a good reason but I am just a bit bummed out by it. What happen if we have more than 50 cards when we update the game? If random cards will be lost, I better count my bench and tidy them up before donwloading the update. Thanks
Any hope of reworking the contracts system? I love the game but my teams progression is completely halted by having to buy contract renewals constantly, even after buying the coin doubler. In the first game until the retirement update it was perfect - is there any chance of a return to this?
We are looking into rebalancing costs of renewals, packs and free agents. This is a new system so it will take some time to get it just right. I appreciate your patience as we make improvements to attempt to make this system better before abandoning it.
The cleaning the Bench experience is way better in the v1.1 you can select multiple players at once or sell your entire bench if you want. Check it out when it's released and let me know what you think.
I don't think that's the issue. The main problem is looking through the bench. I don't like the 50 limit but even if you do 50, looking through your bench is a chore. I still think there should be no limit then divide the bench into categories so people can look through say, what CBs they own instead of flipping through the entire bench. I suppose you can just go to the CB position and hit sub to look through it but then you'd have to keep flipping pages back and fourth to see different positions.
