seriously!!! I have been a loyal fan of Football heroes since the beginning and now half of my team is retired. I have spent countless dollars on this game, grinded and made in my opinion a very solid and well thought out team especially with power-ups! I welcomed an update with new powerups and divisions, but retirement is ridiculous. You've ruined the aspect of building your perfect team; at least remove retirement, you've ruined the game for me. I refuse to play and I'm informing all of my friends of how ridiculous this is... My Stats have been decreased but what looks like 30%? And I've lost powerups which made my team unique. TouchArcade YOU ARE GREEDY. YOUVE RUINED A GREAT GAME DUE TO YOUR GREED. THANKS FOR RUINING THE FUN FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORTED YOU FROM THE BEGINNING. I HOPE ONE OF YOU READ THIS.

^ I realize my previous posts may be considered outlandish, instead I'm going to propose this... Once a player is retired I would like the ability to spend a coin amount like 50% of the previous play costs to get them back to LEVEL ONE. So my Mr. impossible running back gold player, will actually be worth considering getting again. I understand you want us to diversify our teams... But retirement ruined why I started playing, MULTIPLAYER is how you make the game better. Not forcing us to try other players, I try other players daily when I have a surplus of coins, I use roughly 5 QB's for fun. Making them all retired because I play often is not Fun. It's a shame to hear a game you loved get an awesome update and open it up to see almost your whole team suck. Thank you Touch Arcade, for what you had, but currently you're losing me, and most likely countless others who supported you with this small aspect to what otherwise is an awesome update

    Hey bm_unit,

I agree with you! Honestly, the retirement system was a bad idea! The thought was that retirement would make the game more dynamic and give played incentive to try other players. The issue here was that this system made leveling up players punitive, making something cool like leveling up a bad thing. This is bad design! Plain and simple and this is my fault.

We have just submitted a new version of Football Heroes 2015 that includes the features listed below. Well, now I can see the actual field but the crowd is still blacked out. This needs to be fixed please. I'm on an ipod touch 5 and the whole game should be displayed on it! It runs games that are a lot more graphic intensive with zero problems.

Way too many coins for new contracts, I appreciate how you don't use contracts in sudden death, and im curious if he same applies for local multiplayer. All in all, I haven't bought a new silver pack yet so im unsure of how many contracts I'll recieve but I'll comment on that once I get there, plus I like the recent player recognition

    Concerns About Contracts

I have noticed that contracts has been implemented into Football Heroes 2015, and have a few concerns
What happens when you are forced to "Sell" a player ie: Their contract has expired and you do not have enough money or cards to bring them back, obviously they are gone, but what if you have no bench position for that player? Are you forced down to a measly bronze one benchwarmer? This is especially disconcerting with my hi-powered lineup and the slim number of games left on the players contracts I have barely gotten to use, as the step down to a benchwarmer would be like stepping off a cliff.

Games Left on Contract in Parentheses
    G1=Gold 1; G2=Gold 2 S3=Silver 3 and so on

    Offense
    QB- G2 Sharpshooter (22)

    RB-G2 Titan Thunder (21)

    TE-G1 Juggernaut (23)

    WR-G2 Perfect Hands (22)

    WR-G1 Showtime (22)

    C-G2 Pillar (27)

    OG-G1 Immovable Object (25)

    OG-G1 Brick Wall (18)

    K-G2 Golden Boot (30)

    Defense

    KR-G1 Ice Man (24)

    DL-G1 Bus (26)

    DL-G1 Stinky (22)

    DL-S3 Blitzer Ice (18)

    CB-S3 Interceptor Shadow (18)

    CB-S2 Interceptor Thunder (18)

    LB-G1 Career Thunder (20)

    LB-G1 Career Thunder (18)

    FS-S2 Rocketman Thunder (18)

If I earn on average $405 per coin battle (the only things I ever do) thats $7,290 earned at minimum, in 18 games, the time the least contracted players leave, plus the 4,939 I already have equals out to 12,229, in other words, 4 Advanced Decks, all of which must contain one Contract Extension to be one short, (I have one already) of the quota of 6 players with no contract. I am not sure exactly how much it costs to pay a player to return, but I have a feeling it is more than 3,000 per player, especially for high tier golds and silvers, leaving advanced packs as the best alternative, assuming I always get either a better player or a contract extension, this leaves me to use my spare rocketman on the bench and using the 5 contract extension cards on the players with a measly 229 net profit. But wait. This is AFTER I already had 4,939, so it is a loss of $4,710 just to keep my lineup from leaving, actually not even close to enough, I am lucky to have a bench player of that type, the only other player on my bench being a Gold 1 Heavy Drop Thunder TE, so it does not work out at all in the long run. I get that you can buy them back from the the draft for the same amount of money, as you get that amount returned to you, but what about the 14 GOLD players in my lineup, I certainly dont want to end up losing them, they dont simply "appear" in the draft, they were a rare opening. So, this leaves me very unsure about not just the whole "contract" process, but for the fate of my team. :( Please answer what you get when a player is "Sold" besides money because he is out of contracts and you do not have enough money to renew him. I hope to get feedback on this post, this obviously took a bit to write. I hope this feedback is helpful to the progression of the game :)

Sorry about the slow nature of my reply.

Could you explain what you mean by: "Way too many coins for new contracts"?

Multiplayer games do count as Contract games, so -1 Contract game per MP match.

Thanks for checking out the new version.

    Thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

The prices for renewing a player's contract scales with the quality - Bronze 1 Star Player renewal = cheapest, Gold 3 Star Player renewal = most expensive.

Yes, If you have have no Bench Player for the position that runs out of Contract Games you are given a bronze player to replace the missing player. When your player runs out of contract games and Release him you get the Sell Price for that player, so hero coins.

Hope that answered your questions. Sorry about the slow nature of my reply.

Ok, thank you for that info, now i am curious, if you have any feedback on my situation, about not having enough coins to keep my team together, as right now i can easily see my team dropping easily 500K to 1M if i am not careful about player contracts, and just play freely amd open packs. This is a little disconcerninig as it is a slow grinding processs on sudden death where contacts are obsolete. Possibly contracts only count towards "Cup" games and not "Recreation" games ie: coin battle, sudden death, multiplayer? I am not quite sure, as my math points downwards for my team at my current strategy of constant coin battles, and after all of the progress to get here it is very worrying to me to see this kind of math. A bit more math here, starting at zero, it takes 8 250 coin battles to earn over the 3,000 coins for an Advanced Deck, so out of an 18 man roster, it takes a total of a little less than 144 games to get 18 packs to get contract cards BEST CASE SCENARIO (Contract Every Time). The one contract i have managed from a Basic Deck held a measly 6 game contract. This does not work out at all. You will lose players, as it is impossible to keep up with this, even the first player, unless by some miracle gets 144+ contract, will not even make it. So, you end up losing around 80% of your team to bronze! :( This is why i am so confussed about this new system
    Sorry I Write so Much!
Another suugestion, that doen't really have to do with this is, being able to sell plays/boosts. I have 25+ of each boost except timeouts, and 20-30+ for most and 40+ for certain more common plays. Maybe 3-10 coins per? Just a suggestion since me, and i assume everyone that constantly opens Advanced Packs, had a ton of all of these that they never really use because the do not need them, so it would be great to be able to have the option to sell them for extra money :)

MMarzola, great game! I am enjoying FBH a lot. Aside from this game, are there plans to make a full fledged NFL in the future? EA killed madden with timers and events. I am ready to pay a premium for an NFL sim with full seasons. You guys don't even have to worry about licensing as you could let us rename players...

This system is designed to influence you to cycle players cycle through your roster to increase variety. The intention is that you will have to make tough decisions with your lineup and strategies - do I want to keep my Star QB and Star Wide receiver and build a team around them and have a bunch of Silver Defensive players (to reduce contract renewal costs). This system should make the game more dynamic and hopefully bring you to strategic decisions on how you want to manage your team as GM (balancing Money vs Talent).

I like the idea of selling Boosts. We will add this feature request for a future update.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I agree, even though the Coin Doubler says that it is only for a limited Time, it is not. If you buy the Coin Doubler you will have double your coins forever.

I cannot go into detail as to why this message is there, but take my word when I say that we will not take your Coin Doulber away, it will be permanent if you purchase it.

    +1

Before update I played Heroes 2015 every day - min. 5 games --> I loved it.

Since the last update before 1 week I played 3 games --> I don´t like the game. Why? I would lost all my players - I earn with coin battle not enough coins for the contracts to be extended.

On my iPod Touch 5th gen. I see since update not the stadium (now black) - very strange. On my device was the gameplay before update really good (with stadium).

Thank you MMarzola, I tried it and it's even more fun.
What I was asking was an NFL sim without the cartoonish look but similar to madden on the console.
