Every time I change app during play (answer phone call or text) or put phone into sleep mode, when I come back to play game, I think game is trying to sync with game center and it takes time.
Bug/Funny pic of day. During kickoff, I was able to power tackle my oppt KR and he landed in his end zone. Now you make the call. BTW, this happened with 1.1.
Bug: Touch Back I received a punt in the my side endzone and waited until tackled. When game showed it is touch back, my team started at 50 yards line. Free 30 yards..... Question: Is there way to kneel for auto touch back? Why do I have to wait until tackled in the endzone? What happens if I get tackled and fumbles the ball? Thanks
I waited in the end zone when returning a punt and the other team fumble punched me. The ball disappeared from play, but the clock keep running. I do wish there was a way to get a touch back.
I finally bought the coin doubler after the latest update, and I'm not regretting it. Now, I'm slowly filling my team with silver players
hi again, well everything was ok until just now when i was robbed of my silver pack for 3,000 hero coins, idk if it had to do to the fact that when i went for the silver pack, the wifi i was connected to was down so when i went to purchase the pack the game crashed. when i logged back in i see my coins were used but i received no cards or anything........ o well beat the new cups already so honestly prob wont play this again til online multiplayer releases.... fun game tho keep up the good work! in back tracking i saw this guys post and basically what happened to him is the same what happened to me, u gotta fix this cuz yea we grinded and got robbed on that pack basically.
Same thing happened to me where I bought a silver pack and then when I came back to the game they're gone. And I was playing online but after I got the card pack I left the game.
I don't want multiple teams per se. I want to be able to erase my team and start over. There was a lot of talk about this earlier in this thread. Now that I have the hang of this game, I want to start from square 1 and buy the coin doubler. Grinding from where I am now is not that appealing...
Me too. But without buying another coin doubler. If multiple team can me managed with same coin doubler, I will start new team to min my dumb mistakes... Only if we can start from beginning.
You've said in the past that you want to implement a multiple teams feature, but that it is a lot of work. So instead of that couldn't you quickly implement a reset data button? Basically it would delete all game data except for things purchased with real $$. I don't know anything about developing a game, but it doesn't seem as if this would be a major undertaking. Then you could add it to your next bug fix update.
You gotta take the risk to possibly get an awesome player. The entire system is based on this idea. You get coins back for selling players you do not want so this way you are closer to having enough coins for the next deck or player. Rinse repeat
Ahhh... yes! This was done to ensure people do not lose their progress when in the middle of a game. The iPhone clears a bunch of memory when the game is minimized and we do not have control over it and it would delete Football Heroes from memory and you would lose a bunch of progress. This was our fix, its the best, but its the best we can do for now.
This is caused by not have an internet connection when purchasing things in the store. We are actively working on fixing this and resubmitting a build ASAP. Disappointed in this update for a few reasons: 1. The pause/sync is super annoying. I don't know any other game that requires a progress bar for restoring a game after turning the device off or switching to a call. And I don't know of any other game that has a problem restoring data when returning to the game, there must be a better way to do this. 2. Pausing a game during a kickoff still renders your team completely immobile. 3. Kickoffs and extra points still run the clock. 4. Not sure if this is new or if I'm just now noticing, but a short kickoff is a useful strategy to force your opponent to use a non-KR to run the ball back. They wouldn't be as skilled at returning, so while you sacrifice field position, they are less likely to run the ball back for a TD. NOT SO IN FOOTBALL HEROES! The KR just magically appears wherever you kick the ball! This just guarantees a TD for harder teams. 5. Other teams still cheat making harder bowls still not worth playing. KRs can use their special moves whenever they want, no cool down like I have. Fumbles are still way too often (though some changes must have been made since I was finally able to beat the Devils).
I do understand that. But when you get same players over and over, I question Combo pack how much is random and how many players in the pool to get picked from? And we should get at least half of what they worth when we sell them at max. that way, we will try to get combo pack although you have chance to get same player or lesser players.
I agree with everything wilef said except the first point. I don't find it that annoying and the security of knowing that my progress won't be lost is worth the 4-5 seconds it takes to load. The computer KRs spamming specials is ridiculous, worst part of the game imho. I really enjoy all the improvements but think this build is actually more buggy than the old version. For example, often when the computer QB scrambles, he will just run off the side of the screen and the camera won't follow him. Impossible to tackle him blind. This happens at least once a game against high level teams.
I hear you. I have issues with all your points. 1. He answered this one few post before. 2. This got to be fixed. 3. I do care little less on this one since it effects both teams. 4. Yup. It should be closest player gets/receives punt or kickoff. 5. Cheater... I do not mind if their silver or gold players make plays. But when Bronze players keep out playing my maxed silver players on both ends, now I have problems.... Very good points. But I still play this game since I am a football fan, and this game is best and simple to play...
I noticed that bench players are displayed as earning XP at the end of each game but their XP meters do not fill up. Take a look at my screenshot of a bench player showing +180 XP but his XP meter is still at 0
What's everyones strategies and go to plays? My safety play is definitely dumping it to my TE on a quick slants play, if I do it quick enough I can avoid the blitz even on a defensive counter and hopefully have my TE in enough room to activate a special that will get the first down. I find i don't go to the running game very often due to the my RBs being very susceptible to the dreaded fumble punch. On defence I used to call CB blitz every time and effectively get the sack 90% of the time due to having an extremely quick corner. But against higher level teams, especially against Gold RBs, i'm starting to see the value of a strong run defence.
