MMarzola- yeah i do, isnt that the only way to exit the screen by hitting collect next to the amount you were rewarded? wondering how far have people gotten with the benchwarmers leveled all the way up?
Switching sounds good if somehow you get a virtual control for move and punch and direction. I think i would have to try it. Never been a fan of auto zoom.
Yes I am still missing the free agents. Even the .99 cent agent has disappeared. I got all the benchwarmers at max level and got to Pro Division. Started losing more at the first matchup of Pro and had to buy a silver pack. Was going to save up to get the 6000 freezing free agent but honestly, the 3k silver pack is more worth it. I am about 80 games in, winning around 60 of them. I lost almost 10 matches straight playing the last match in Pro Division. I lost count the number of times they intercepted or my players fumbled. I swear they cheat the moment they are about to lose! I think i saw a gold card player on their side. One of them had so much health he just shrugged off my entire team and walked straight to my end zone. I have bought 3 silver packs so far and finally beat that team. My team value is 600k+ yet i am already losing to 200k value teams in the next tournament. Some bloke just electrocute my entire team. It's usually game over after that. Another guy had some long robotic arm that pulled me back and prevented me from scoring when i thought i was home free!
Im also missing free agents at the moment including the .99 cent iap qb. Playing this on an ipad 2 running the latest ios. Such a fun game, a really enjoyable take on arcade football. The only gripe I have is that the coin earnings seem to small even with the doubler imo, but as its such fun playing even with the bronze players it isnt a deal breaker yet for me. Kudos to the dev for a great game!
Regarding controls. I'll throw my 2 cents in: On offense - Left side for the stick/movement. Right side of the screen: tapping = punch, swiping = spin without the need to actually perform it on the player, this way you can grip the screen naturally with hands on both sides. Clicking on a player would pass to him as usual. I think this would be ok even though you need to remove your right hand from gripping the device. On defense - Left side for the stick/movement. Right side of the screen: tapping = punch, swiping = tackle without the need to actually swipe the player, again, better suited for holding the device. Tapping on a player switches to him, if you are running with one player and click on switching to another player, the stick if held remains held and so you don't lose momentum with the other player. Oh and I agree that some of the powerups are way too powerful, escaping a tackle or two is fine but obliterating a team is a bit much. Nice game in any case! Brings back sweet Speedball 2 memories!
i still am... just logged into game it said 'new players available' and free agents missing only .99 player is there.
couple of things would it be possible to add team record and team value when you go to the "my team" screen. also would it be possible to have the screen zoom out when youre on offense so one is able to see there wrs when theyre going for a deep pass. really enjoying the game, couple of control issues and technical stuff but overall a five star winner.
Yup, this game is solid. The matches are quick and the 'just one more match' feel is good. Some gripes: 1) I don't like how plays you get from packs are consumables. I rather they be collectibles, with exceptional/strong plays being one use per game 2) Would like option to sub players during play. Makes sense since some QBs are rushers whilst others are passers 3) Player number should be more visible during play so we can pick them easily when the game is zoomed out 4) If my catcher is standing behind a prone player, any passes to him is automatically incomplete. Please fix this 5) Please make models with different sizes to make them more identifiable. OL, C should be bigger than QBs 6) There is a lag when my player decides to rush after i pick a passing play. The player still does his "attempting to throw" animation and walks very slowly until a certain point when his animation changes back to normal and speed increases
Free Agents vs Packs - Yeah Free Agents are more expensive, but you know exactly what you are going to get. With the Packs you get players at Random, sometimes you will get player that you dont want or the dreaded DUPLICATE I tend to buy packs more often cuz I like to roll the dice. But if I see a player that I really want I will purchase the Free Agent Free Agents Missing - This bug makes me super Sad Please keep me updated tomorrow and let me know if you Free Agents ever come back. We are actively looking into this bug but we have not been able to reproduce it on our end yet. So we are looking for information on this one so we can fix it. Thanks Player Story - I loved listening to you describe your ups and downs in the Single Player Cup experience. Lots of cool moments. I hope you are having fun and not getting frustrated, as I designed the game to be difficult but fair. Hope this has been your experience. You have a good record! You might be better than me at the game

Excellent game but a few drawbacks. Major ones I'd say. First, even though the game synchronizes between devices, it has two separate versions. So I'd have to buy twice the "coin doubler". It is outrageous. I bought consciously because it was supposed to be two different version and I'd like to have different teams and tactics into two devices. Unfortunately it does synchronizes automatically. Second, the grotesque ads. Since I bought the "coin doubler" should I have the privilege of not having those annoying things? Well, unfortunately the AppStore has turned into a model that I'll have to pass. The Freemium Model will not survive, at least not for me and I hope not for everyone. Sorry debvs, a wonderful game turn into a crappy one. If AppStore would have refund, most of you would be broken by now. Cheers, Bruno
Sorry you feel that way Bruno. I play the game without spending any money. And I have a lot of fun. The Coin Doubler does synchronize between devices. You only need to buy the Coin Doubler once. If this is not working, please let me know. We need to fix this immediately. Thanks for playing.
1 - Yes I agree, the consumable Play system needs to be improved. I like the idea of have permanent plays. 2 - Yeah we had this at one point, but took this out because we did not want to slow down the pacing of the game. We even cut Time Outs to increase pacing. But Timeouts may be making a triumphant come back 3 - Yep, this is a major problem in the game right now. Identifying who is who. 4 - Could you explain this is more detail? Not sure what you mean. thanks 5 - YES! This would be awesome!!! This is memory restriction, cannot find a way to do it technically. As soon everyone gets rid of their 3Gs and iPhone 4s maybe. 6 - I will try to reproduce this on my end. See if I can fix it
Normally I agree that in game ads are annoying, but the only ad I've seen is at halftime. I don't see that it takes away from gameplay. This game hardly falls in line with most freemium models... No timers, no pushy reminders to purchase IAP, and no known paywall. This is one of the better free games I've played and am eagerly waiting for multiplayer as I hope it is implemented well.
whats the plan with gold packs? i havent spent coins on packs or players yet, feel like the future investment would be better though im not being able to get past the fourth team in the pro division. will they be on sale soon?
I lost all free agents for a few hours today. The count down timer was at 0:00 and it just stayed there. I have them back now but I'm not sure how or why.
I was charged twice. You should have done it universal then. Why did you not do that? Should I report a problem with Apple or do you have anything in mind to fix the problem I was charged twice?
