I would love to see a simple American Football game that is animated with Xs and Os. I want to see a field with hash marks, an interface that allows the player to choose from a list of running and passing plays on offense and defense and then shows the outcome. Avalon Hill had something like this on computers years ago called "Computer Football Strategy" - it was nothing but a diversion and the outcome was based on the choices made by the coaches. If I chose a draw on offense and the defensive choice was a deep pass, I would make a nice gain. This type of game would not have licenses, but maybe you could name the teams yourself.
