It's out! I'm digging it so far. My defense is crushing all my opponents. I normally prefer clickers that progress in the background but any new naquatic game is an instant checkout in my book. Question for the dev. Is there a reason to draft someone into a new position that costs more than the others? Right now I'm not too far in the season and everyone is level one. Does this change?
This game is really fun!! I'm enjoying very much! I also have a question. Why does leveling up individual stats on a player increase the cost of all stat increases for all players on your team. Also, better players are always exponentially more expensive than my cash on hand. I'm having a lot of fun though! Waiting for the article announcing that the game is out There is something else I've been noticing as well. You can purchase as many fireworks as you want, but additional purchases don't appear to affect my PPS. Is this by design? Ok so another edit here with some more impressions. I'm almost finished with season 2 and it's starting to drag a little. It's clear that everyone loses the first time by hitting a wall and then had to grind. This appears to create an escalating wall and makes the week of training almost obsolete because it's not close to enough time to climb the next wall. Also, there is no offline currency generation. I'm now generating money in the trillions/quadrillions but only ever receive like 22k from being offline. Is this by design? And if so, why include offline generation at all? Is there a way to increase it that I'm missing? Also, is there any point in tapping when you aren't in a match with someone? It doesn't seem to affect the amount of money earned.
Dang this game is getting stale. So many bugs need fixing. It takes forever to get money at higher levels. And the rewards are super meh. Great for the first hour or 2. When's the next update?
I agree completely unfortunately. The game makes such a good first impression! But unfortunately there isn't really a hook. The time between games is growing exponentially. And with no real offline income, there no reason to really play the game at all if you don't have a ton of time to sit down and play. I wanted to love this game so much but I'm kind of over it. As a side note, $20 is by far the most expensive currency doubler I've ever seen. $5 is a sweet spot, $10 i would still consider.... But man... $20 is brutal.

Thanks hope you guys apply soon!
Yeah, it interested me briefly as well, but it fizzled out quickly. I wanted to play long enough to get 300 free Premium Currency, use it to get a non-standard primary "A Class" offensive character (like the Right Offensive Tackle) and see if specializing in a way that can only be countered by the Right Defensive Tackle would work. My last few matches have been "0 to 0" unless I use the Extra Point or get lucky and my last tap registers points just at the buzzer. The entire game feels flawed. You're rewarded to LOSE, because you can sit around and do nothing afterwards while endorsements fall from the sky at a boosted rate.
Sigh The players that have say Level 400+ of Offense/Def w/ all gold players have an extremely difficult time getting medals. It takes nearly an hour to pass a week. It's easier to make a new account to earn medals quickly. We (Havoc) won't be winning the competition this week, since the rate at which we get medals has diminished by a great amount. Though thanks for the extra 500 diamonds for winning Naquatic. I wasn't expecting that
Yeah, it's pretty clear that there's no actual "competition" going on in matches. You'll just get assigned a random name and their 'performance level' will be based solely on what Year/Week you've reached. The numbers will deviate by +/- 5% each time, but you can rematch a hundred times against a hundred different names and each one will have a similar final score and offensive/defensive point distribution. As you say, a bunch of active players starting fresh on a Sunday are guaranteed to win. The only reward for advancing in the game is longer stretches of time to pass each week and needing more and more numbers to clear. Which is the essence of a 'clicker' game, but it doesn't translate well into something where competition is around completing as many stages as possible. It might have been better as a completely solo experience, instead of the pseudo VS play it offers. Add to that the threat of characters possibly retiring at the end of each season, and I don't see too many people bothering to progress too far.
