Shows 99 cents for me when I click the Fling! button to refresh the itunes store page...I'm still gonna wait though...
Mine was showing 0.99 on the small icon page - and then $1.99 on the actual Fling page -- now is showing 1.99 on both the small icon page, and the main page...
Hey everyone, yeah the price was dropped to $0.99 for a few days - while Apple is featuring it we want to give it a chance to ride the charts a little Always seems to be a little confusion in the AppStore for a few hours when the price switches.
CandyCane, Any of your folks on the leaderboards? I find it odd that someone would only have high scores on the hard leaderboard, and am guessing that "Mike" and a few others in the top 5 may be an employee? FlingKing and ASCLudovic are romping on the easy and mid boards...already lost my high on easy. I'm guessing Mike could roll in and be fighting for the top spot if he wanted.
Hey, firstly we just 'cleaned-up' the hi-scores list such that there's a max of two (highest) scores per user per mode now .... since a few users (including some here) said it would be preferable not to let one user have a ton of scores, potentially hogging the top 10 ... so as a hacky-fix for now we can do such a 'clean-up' occassionally (its just a matter of running one quick command on the DB). And yeah, you guessed pretty right actually .... at Candycane we've been 'testing'/playing versions of this game for months, so we didn't want to pollute the global hi-score lists too much with any of our super-high scores. Since Fling really is a game of skill that you can get better+better at, our scores would be rather unreachable for users right now, and that wouldn't be so fun [Mike actually reached the last - 19th - level in arcade medium]
Looks like Fling! just dropped out.. It is the #14 Top Puzzle behind Super Monkey Ball at #98.. hopefully you keep the sale on a bit longer to see what happens. Goodluck. Are there plans for a lite version?
Regarding a lite version - would you believe it, we actually submitted it on the same day as the full version, with a grand plan to have both come out at same time .... but its still not approved (so don't hold your breath for it coming out any day soon, its in approval limbo ...) And yeah, we'll keep the sale on while Apple is featuring the app, it seems to do better while featured if on sale, and this way in any case more people get to try it

Just got this and have to say, I love it. Absolutely great puzzle game with cute characters and funny music. There are lots of games modes to keep you busy, and 10s of THOUSANDS of puzzles!!! I mean I thought there were a lot of puzzles in Unblock Me with a few thousand!! There is also online highscores to see how good you are compared to the world champ, and local highscores to check your personal best. There is also a neat stats system showing how many levels you have completed and in what time. Replayability is unlimited with thousands of puzzles it will have you going forever!! If there was one complaint, it would be a different menu because I think that I am still playing in a way. So like if you pause the game then click main menu. Anyway, that is a tiny, tiny complaint and love this game. Gameplay: 10/10 Replay Value: 10/10 Value for money: 10/10 Overall: 10/10 Verdict: If you want a great 59p/99c game to waste time, forget Parachute Panic and the rest, get Fling!
