I just got a single Fling stick for my iPad, but have had some problems with games like GTA:CTW's. The analog stick while centered right above the "virtual analog stick" still seems to not be very receptive. While driving the virtual stick doesn't follow my movements exactly, causing me to miss turns, turn late or to not turn at all when I'm clearly holding the stick to the right/left. Are there any tips/tricks for a new user? Ways to apply it so it doesn't slide? Any best practice tips? Thanks!
I picked one up over the weekend. I mostly use it on GTA:CW and POP:WW. In Chinatown wars, my best suggestion would be to lower the center of the fling right a little off-center below the on screen analogue stick. It will line up a little better in vehicle sections. I also move it a little to the right too. Be sure to take your thumb off the Fling when you start a driving section. Otherwise the ga,e won't pick up on movements. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for great action games that work well with the fling. I've been ignoring most games with control sticks because they played better on the iPhone than the iPad.
