Hmm, we looked at the screen shot, it definitely shouldn't look like that. Which quality setting are you using (options screen)? Thanks
My experience with the rendering (iPad Air 2) looks the same exact way. Please add city lights to the dusk and night flights!
Sorry we don't have any promo codes, if one opens up we'll post it in the appropriate area. Thank you
We need your help picking the next plane to release in the update: - Moto Hang Glider - 747 - B2 Bomber
Planning on buying an Ipad Air Pro.. Got the Ipad Air 2 already.. Will the quality be the same, or will it get blurry with the bigger screen?
On an iPad air pro you can make use of the ultra quality setting which utilizes higher res textures. Once Apple approves larger app sizes we'll update the game to make use of 4K satellite imagery
Thanks btw, why not add the option in the game to download the 4K files? I see a lot of apps downloading external data files lately, without updating in the App Store. Ain't the file-size for apple now 4 Gb, instead of 2 Gb..
We could do that, good idea. Yes it's 4GB but in the development tools they don't let you have groups of textures that large for whatever reason. The next few updates will completely change the game, I think everyone will be very excited. We're going to introduce a campaign mode with missions, new planes, and the ability to edit the draw distances, etc. In addition some major physics tweaks have been made. How are you enjoying the game? People have noted it doesn't have the realism of Aerofly or Xplane, which is true. We've spent a long time trying to re-define what can be done graphically in mobile flight sims.
Looks stellar. So the 747 will be in next weeks update? I was a bit surprised to see Switzerland in the game. You have SF, San Jose, and the other airport, and then a country thousands of miles away. Don't get me wrong, I like it. Just surprised. Regardless, I continue to be impressed and grateful. Bravo
Thank you, yeah it is a strange location, but the layout of the satellite scenery makes for some great visuals. We're trying to fit the 747 into the next update. We're going to include 2-3 planes, 2 of which will be an in app purchase. Thank you for the helpful replies
Happy to help. Are you located in the states, or overseas? I'm in the Bay Area -- which is why I really like this game. Is there an estimate as to which day the update goes live?
We're based out of Los Angeles. I believe we've decided to split the update into two parts. Next week we'll submit an update with physics fixes and after that we'll release the update with the new planes.
Sounds good. I grew up in LA. Hermosa Beach and Long Beach! Do you guys have a FB page I could follow for updates on this game? I think the decision to split the updates up is a good one. Will the first update alleviate the rendering/draw distance debacle? Thanks
