Funny they're the top 2 paid apps then isn't it? They're dominating sales on the US AppStore. In any case, Flight Control is an excellent game. For the 5 people who don't have it, make sure you grab it. This started Firemint off on the AppStore. They've been supporting it every since. Now they're the ones pushing the platform to its limits with Real Racing 2.
It'll be interesting to see if Real Racing 2 or Plants Vs Zombies go free (I already own both versions so it wouldn't affect me) but I know a few mates who are too stingy to buy them, even when they were on sale (forget about the $0.99 sale of Real Racing 2 that happened about a month ago as that only lasted a few hours)
I doubt it. Seriously if you cant spend $5 to buy an iOS game, they shouldn't own a $300 iOS device. I think I bought Real Racing 2 for $7, Flight Control HD for $5, and PvZ for $3. Its like they wait 2 years for something to go free...

wow, never expected this one to go free. bought the ipad version a couple of months back, when it was only a buck, and then bought the iphone/ipod version as well. it's much better on the ipad than the iphone, but still a great to pass the time; no regrets, money well spent.
This was unexpected¸ but I was wondering when they make some game free that was made by another studio, but owned by them.
Already got this paid back in March, fantastic game. Lovely gameplay, calming music and addicting gameplay. Battery saving too!
