Apple has always said it denies anything over one month. Got my last refund request denied cause it was completely pulled. I am now forced to do it again with Real Racing 2 cause it is completely pulled, but since I got it over a year ago, they will probably denie it due to the one month limit.
Shouldn't be unless we're talking like decades. And if it said "free" and you still got charged that's a pretty easy case to win eh
Different circumstances though. Edit: Apps getting removed vs. getting charged for apps that states "free".
Guess I haven't been paying attention to read that RR2 was pulled. Now I really am pissed and hope RR3 is a total flop! Sorry for the thread derailing.
Well, they have denied me for some other apps and being an early adopter and not doing it promptly. What that time frame is, I got no idea. And you got a point. Anyway, if it is your first or second request for a refund, they seem really nice, but months might be tough. Good luck to the poster. Hope they approve it.
When it was first released it had control and framerate issues. But a major update came with a ton of controls, and other improvements to the game. I now like it due to the left on one side of the screen and right on the other controls. But I play on hdmi tv, so I may not represent other players here. Great hdmi game though. Ok new ipad game. Also, change difficulty to the highest cause the framerates and sense of speed is better. Also change the settings to something you like. The tilt controls on the ipad is really bad, cause you have to keep your ipad horizontal to the ground which is ridiculous. Use the controls I mentioned earlier.
I had really fun with the demo so I purchased it. Haven't gotten around to play the full version yet tho, but can't be worse then the demo eh? So I'd say yes it's worth a dl (it's effin free for god sake lol)
Yeah still nearly an hour to go till this is free here (10pm CST). I will post a pic or something after I get it and try it out. It'll probably be tomorrow night or so since I'm moving my "iTunes Media" folder to an external drive and I have to wait for that to finish before I can sync over what's on my phone and free some space. It's been a chore, but its been long overdue.
It's free. I don't know why, but my app apps (that's the name of the folder I keep them in...app apps) give WAY advance notice. Rarely as early as this one, but it isn't unheard of. Just remember...if I say something is going free, I mean it
Similar games, both have a Wipeout game feel. Flashout has racers and weapons, Repulzes has polarity color gates that you pass through. Both are good, I like Repulze better. Flashout does not work too good on older devices, and has some framerate issues. Ipad 3 is the lowest plays it well, so you got lower, expect some framerate issues. Both play well on hdmi so I like them, on my new ipad, Flashout is an ok game, well worth lockedz and loading. Many of my friends have said that Flashout actually looks better than on my tv, but when they actually play, they like Repulze better. Flashout, make sure you change your options controls to what you like, and I recommend the hardest setting, seems to have better framerates and sense of speed. Attached is a picture of Repulze on hdmi tv, so you can compare a little to my previous pictures of Flashout.
To compare, took a picture from my new ipad.. Flashout, pretty awesome graphics on ipad retina. I hear that it doesn't look nearly as good on an iphone though.
