To me it looks like the new app called Flash Video Discover is another SCAM app. Its in the top 10 right now. Most of the 5 Star reviews look like fake reviews (This app is the only one in review) The rest appear to be one star reviews saying the app doesn't work. How can apple allow this misleading app to exist. I agree the developer does not say that it plays flash video but the reviewers say it does. To me if these reviewer are fake this is the same as the developer saying the app does this. If this is a big scam I hope Apple pulls this app and bans the developer.
Icon is trademark infringement. Adobe will have it off the app store in a couple days. But i's the idiot consumers who buy an app based on claims by other reviewers that deserve to lose .99 cents.
90% of iTunes reviews are terrible, but you can sift thru the crap to find actual reviews. Sticking to TA for game reviews is fine, but it's a relatively small number of games covered vs what is available. Plus, it may surprise a lot of people, but there are some apps that aren't games
Yeah TA does guide a lot of my game buying decisions, but sometimes I go by reviews on itunes that seem to point out specific details. I've been mostly happy, only being burned a few times. But if there is a youtube video available so I can see the game in action that is really helpful to me. Sorry to hear about your experience, surprised that got through apples filters.
Looks like Apple pulled this of the store today. I was surprised it lasted as long as it did. I hope Apple can plug the holes on the fake reviews. I see the rules changing again.
