Do you mean cancel the currently brewing batch? Or cancel a batch currently for sale? Because you can do the latter, by tapping the batch listing in the Batches Menu, and then hitting the Remove From Market button. As for canceling a batch you're currently brewing, I'll have to think about that. I don't want it to be too flexible, otherwise it makes your decisions have less weight. Thank you! All credit to Kelly, she did all the art for the game, and she's normally not a pixel artist! You should check out her tumblr, she's incredibly talented. You might see a couple sketches from what we're working on next too, though they aren't labeled as our next project yet -- since it could change! http://is-chimera.tumblr.com/
4/5 - official review just went live... congrats! Might just top off my iTunes credits to pick this up next week
A bit confused... States about 20 hours of gameplay on home page but touch arcade states in their review: "Clearing events will open up new ones and, again unlike similar games, eventually leads to a conclusion. Once you've finished the game, you're free to start again with a New Game Plus mode, but I was kind of surprised by the game actually ending. I know a New Game Plus serves a nearly identical purpose, but it would be nice to have the option of simply carrying on forever if you want. The mechanics are certainly deep enough to support it. At any rate, it's a fairly long journey to the end, so it's not like you'll feel rushed or strapped for time." I can't believe that the reviewer played this for 20 hours and reached the end??? Maybe he/she did but seems doubtful. So how long is this game?
I'm having very much trouble. I've boughten the things that make my yield go up 7, then, 14 percent and put all 5 points in yield but I only get 95 things made, but I have tons of events saying I need 100. Please help
I played for 14 hours and I was not rushing through it. You can spend time leveling your employees and making money without aiming for any goals. But new game + adds a lot of value and play time. I say you can play the game for 30 hours and more without getting bored. I didn't finish ng+ yet. Just having fun playing and it's still great. Looking forward to the update with the promised improvements
Wow! An official review! That's so exciting, we're honored! To answer a few questions: It really depends on the player, but from those who have enabled analytics (it's opt in) and have finished the game, we've seen playthroughs lasting from 12 to 35 hours, with the average being around 20. As others have noted, we've also tried to make it have a good replay value with random events and the New Game + mode. Players aren't meant to always finish every event that comes along. The idea is that when you do complete them, they are a little more special, and you can always revisit the ones you missed in the next playthrough. So don't stress out if you miss some of the optional events. As for other events that have a more flexible timeline, and demand an amount of beer you can't yet reach, over time you can level up your current employees or hire new ones with better stats that allow you reach those goals. Basically, everything that is mandatory should be attainable after a modest amount of time, and if it isn't, please let me know by posting here or emailing [email protected], and I'll do my best to fix the problem.
Personally drink a little beer myself (hello Racer 5), so I'm excited to try it out. Just downloaded it and plan on spending a little time with this game over the holidays.... Glad to support this game!
What is the "quick and convenient" marketplace i have to turn $25k profit at to become friends with the owner?
When I started an NG+ it seemed that I continued getting income from batches that were on sale during the end of my last game. There was a notification on the bottom that a batch sold out for a profit of 15000-ish when my current batches were in the 500 range. I have to say devs, this game is pretty fun. Keep up the good work.
Are you talking about the $50k profit? If so, it's at Sieben Elf. Just brew lots of whatever the competition is not selling and you can mark it up really high. I was pulling +$10k profit per batch lol
Riddle Too Sweet Level Hint Anybody can tell me which beer is required for this level. I'm unable to decipher the hint. Please help.
I am afraid that I am unable to decipher your question. I believe that you forgot to provide some pertinent information.
Thanks but no. It's the challenge to turn $25k profit at a "quick and convenient" marketplace. Reward: become friends with the owner.
The quick and convenient marketplace is Spee D Go, run by Eddie's great uncle Edward. As for the riddle, I believe this is to get the albino honey, yes? When I did this one I just made the first German beer style I thought of, Oktoberfest. This was not the answer, however the beekeeper responds with more clues, and he almost says the name of the style he wants. It starts with the letter 'm'. Spoiler In other words he wants Maibock
