Ok help me,the event victor and vhsa party screwed me over and made me go in debt, I'm not mad as the game is a blast but anyways I created a drink with higher then 600 quality and it says I didn't meet the requirements or something like that, so lost all the money trying this a few times.. My drink was 600 plus What gives?
I definitely never got that high myself, but it could be possible. I'm traveling so I don't have my numbers with me, but I can verify for you later. We're adding high score tables in the next major update so we'll find out for sure what the highest is. The bug with the main characters was not much of a problem, I figured it out pretty quickly and just started another NG+. Turns out you can make enough profit to keep one maxed out employee (with salary) when you start a NG+, if you're a bit careful at the start. Great idea, I'll work something like that in.
Excellent! :0 Sorry for the difficulty! We didn't do a great job of explaining this -- you need just a 600 Quality or better beer, but it has to have higher than normal ABV, which is an Effect listed in the Effects pane of the Recipe in the Brew Menu. If you tap "View" on a Recipe, the effects are shown in the bottom left, and one of the effects a Recipe can have is "higher than normal ABV". Look for a Recipe that has that.
Sorry for the trouble Markku! See my post right above this one -- you need a 600+ Quality Recipe that has listed in its effects (where XP and Quality Cap are listed) that it has higher than normal ABV.

I agree the markup system is arbitrary, but if you treat it more as a "game rule" instead of a realistic aspect of selling, I think it makes it easier to manage. You get to learn tricks as to how to increase your price per unit so you can make more profit. Ok thanks for answering me, since I'm badly in debt and my people have quit should i restart because will I run out of years? Or does it only end when I beat it. The only way I want to restart is if I can run out of time. So someone please let me know so I can play some more.
You never run out of years. The game doesn't ever force you to stop playing, and you can always complete the story.

Hi sorry if I've hijacked this thread, firstly brilliant game. Best management game that I've played on the Kindle.got stuck on the water management bit, getting no yield so using all my craft points to increase yield so quality is suffering. I have tried mixing the employees up, got the Maneater recipe, but not the Great White Ale. I am sure that I must be missing something?
Spoiler To get the great white ale event, you need to finish either challenge 3 or 4 of the competition vs blaubrau. Hope that helps!
The Hunt for the Great White Ale event is giving me fits. I've found lots of posts making reference to the event, but they're all asking for the beer needed. I've figured that out, but I'm having a lot of trouble meeting both the quality AND the quantity requirements. What am I missing?
If your equipment is currently maxed out, you should consider getting new employees. Especially the one with chance at +100% yield might be able to help you out. Good luck!

As Ejongsma noted, level your employees (or hire better ones and possibly level them as well) in order to improve your quality and quantity. Craft Points can be spent to increase Yield, and the other attributes can be used to increase Quality. Hope that helps!
When it says 50 percent chance for a 25 percent yeild for the ninjas ability what does this really mean?
It means that while you are brewing, you have a 50% chance at 25% more yield than expected. So, for example, say you put some craft points in quantity and the screen says you will produce 200 brews. During brewing, the game basically flips a coin and if it's tails, you get 25% more yield. In this case, that would be 200 + 25% = 250 brews. If you're unlucky, the bonus does not work and you just get 200. Hope that clears it up for you!
also I gotta ask and im sure its been explained but i forget it what does patience, dexterity, Itellegence and I belive there is one more but i forget it bot the craft one, what do these all mean?
