I'm getting very hooked to this one, due mainly to it's simple objective and the "one more time" feeling it has.

After you get how to control the ship, it's amazing how fast you can fly around. I've been able to save a maximum of 18 in my best fly, and I love the risk-benefit relationship here, specially when you have 6-8 people in a very small zone and you end up with 10% fuel having to boost up and glide to the landing pad. Really enjoying this one.

Btw, at 2:35 the sky literally falls. It's weird, but it's a great way of knowing you've run out of half of your time :D

we are working on the ipad pro today. The device is a beast. whaooo. you can split the screen and play with two players with on each side the ipad air 2 settings. When you know how well five minutes runs on ipad air 2, truly it's impressive!!!

That's the thing: it takes a bit to get the grip on the controls, but once you get it, it's tremendous. I like flying and landing like a kamikaze. Obviously, I crash a lot, but it's fun and the only way of achieving a better score ;)

Ohhh you are greats, guys. Yes it's a game which needs practice. And then I won't fly with anything else. We have here an helico mode and it's not so great. A new version has been submitted yesterday and includes a nice improvement with the animation. it's even better to fly with this thing!

    Oh wow!
Wasted many hours in my youth playing "Virus" on an Amiga 500 (could not afford an Archimedes to play the superior version of "Zarch"). This game emulates the 3D control scheme beautifully on a touch screen but ramps up the excitement with towering buildings and plummeting cliffs.
The "have I got enough time for 1 more sortie" factor is great. Attempting the risky saving of a citizen that has fallen down a chasm that's just opened is balanced against knowing that a crash will risk all your previous heroic deeds.
    Epic stuff - I'm hooked...

Appreciate your kind words. I love to live in a peaceful democracy. OK french people are not soooo perfect and our politicians look like us, I know that. But here we are a family, and I was very proud of how people react here in January. Together. It's a dark and sad day in our history, for all of us.

Yesterday, one my friend was hurted in the Bataclan. THE BATACLAN!!! It's a small show scene for artist. ffffffffff....

Two very close friends of mine were there as well, they survived unharmed.
I'm still shocked, how it all can end out of the blue, though.

Yes I'm really happy for your friends. This is kind of crazy here. I've listen Ms Merkel this morning and it touches me... Really a great message.

Where it says "last" in the attached image, shouldn't the last score appear? I always see 000.

I've already saved 237 people, and I've seen I need 500 to unlock the next map, hehehe. Looking forward to the update you've mentioned :)

Finally beat my own record :) Now for a few suggestions after playing for some time these days:

    1. since I'm playing both on my iPhone and iPad, it would be great if there was any kind of cloud save support and/or GC integration for high scores. Nonetheless, the quick play sessions and the lack of objective aside from unlocking new maps and beating your high scores allow to play on both devices without a real hassle.

    2. A "you win" screen would be great. Sure, it's game over too, but something like "XX people made it to a new home planet" would be cooler.

    3. The "H" indicator is not very intuitive, at least for me. It works as a "the landing pad is more or less there" indicator rather than a "follow the arrow".

    4. New unlockable skins for the ship would be great. Check "Downwell", it's got alternative palettes unlocked every 5,000 points or so, and it seems to keep on unlocking skins until 500k points. Maybe you could have new skins for the ship unlocked every XX people saved, or even "save XX in a single game to unlock YY skin".

In any case, as I already said, the game has found a permanent space on my devices for quick short play sessions :)

The new version includes a nice improvement on the aircraft's animation (far better). Plus for the lucky ones who get a iPad pro, some ameliorations on the camera and render distance. We are working on a new menu to include the option for the left/right hands, the tilt On/off and other stuff listed above. Thank you for your help! Appreciate ;)

Bump on account of this being one of my favourite recent games. There is an initial disorientation with the controls, but you will master them once you realise things like you can control the direction of the thrusters etc. They then actually become so finite and accurate that it's possible to pick up people at heavy speeds or in the trickiest spots. The world has a beautiful shimmering quality, like the best Minecraft level you never built. And the whole concept of saving people from the end of days gives everything a slightly melancholic tinge. You really start to care for those waving card people. There aren't really too many, if any, good (sort of) open-world flying games on the appstore, so this immediately becomes the best one I've played. Definite front page material. Deserves way more love!!! You should send a few promos to TA reviewers. I don't think it's too late and I can't imagine them not at least liking this.
