There is a tutorial on how to play and what to do but basically it's press the left side of the screen to use energy and go up and forward and slide left/right on the right side of the screen to go turn left and right. You coast as much as possible and return for energy, to drop people off, and don't forget to evacuate lol! That's it! Now back to the game. I'm having fun with it. LOL) while boosting is on the left. chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #14 chief78, Nov 12, 2015 Or an option to flip it.....for you lefties Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #15 Exact-Psience, Nov 12, 2015 Awesome! Just pointing out that the standard is that the LEFT side is where console controllers generally have the dpads, while the right side will have the face buttons. VirtualBoyFreak Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 26, 2011 4,801 85 48 Spain #16 VirtualBoyFreak, Nov 12, 2015 It is great! I've just played a few minutes and I've enjoyed a lot. I can't keep on playing just now because I've gotta go to work in a few minutes, but this game is going to keep me entertained a lot of time. It works flawlessly on my iPad 3 AND on my good old iPhone 4S. Graphics have less lighting effects on the 4S, but it's smooth as silk, for those of you with an old device as mine. Controls are as people define them: thrust on left side, "joystick" on right side. I'm not having difficulties with that, I really recommend you to try it out. My main difficulty with the game is myself: I want to save too many people, run out of fuel, the ship goes "pop pop pop" and falls... And I get killed All the levels except the first are unlockable. The second level is unlocked as easily as saving 10 people, but as I said, I want to save everyone without refuelling and I've died all the times, so I'm still locked to the first map. This game reminds me to the 80's game Space Taxi, available on the Commodore and such, but of course with all the differences in mind. It's like it inherited that game's soul, which is great IMO. I really, really enjoyed that game, so this one is going to be on my iPhone 4S and iPad 3 for a long, long time. If you liked that game, you'll enjoy this one for sure. Give it a try Pony Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2011 470 0 16 The Netherlands #17 Pony, Nov 12, 2015 What really holds me back from getting this is the horrendous graphical pop-in that occurs at times evident in both the trailer and the initial gameplay video. Nothing more distracting and vibe killing then a sudden chunk of world popping in. It's not like we are talking a few objects here, because that is something I could live with. I don't write 3D game engines, but it's hard to swallow for me it cannot be optimized a bit further, or offer a draw distance option. Quite sure a world with this style and fidelity can do without the immense pop-in on -for example- a beasty iPad Air 2. When I'm playing, I look for the flares that guys throw up from the roofs, to go and pick them up. And I'm not sure how it would perform on the 4S without the pop-in Btw, 53.5MB installed, in case anybody wonders. Pretty impressive for the current install sizes we are used to. VirtualBoyFreak Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 26, 2011 4,801 85 48 Spain #20 VirtualBoyFreak, Nov 12, 2015 It's Apple's server side. I suspect you have to wait for a few hours to get it to download correctly. You can also enter iTunes and report a download problem through your purchase history. I did that last night and this morning it downloaded fine. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
