Loads of cookies and crisps my friend. I don't get fat for some reason, I occasionally lift weights, but I'm talking once a week at the most. BTW: I don't recommend you lift etc... You are still growing at 13. Keep to what you are doing, perhaps add some pressups and crunches to your routine for maximum opposite sex attracting potential.
When I was in shape, I just ran a mile and a half every day, did about 100 situps and 50 pushups. Very minimal. But since my wife was about 6 months pregnant I lost track of everything and now I'm pretty large (at least much larger than I want to be) but I plan on getting back into my routine very soon.
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend doing weights at age 13. I used to cycle as fast as I could up a steep hill for about 3km every day and record the time and try and beat it. It's a good way of keeping fit and it doesn't take too long. Now I just lift weights and occasionally go for a cycle ride. I've built up my leg muscles so much, I feel my upper body could use some extra muscle.
Look into one of the dvd programs p90x or insanity. I picked up insanity and with the help of a diet I went down from 140 to 15 from May 1st until august 15th.
Yep, pretty much. I'm wouldn't be able to beat a big guy in a fight, but I could sure as hell run away from them fast
This ^ Actually I play indoor premier football (Striker and Center-Mid), and run a lot. I also have very physical s3x. Trust me that shit will keep you in shape, what with all the crazy positions and stuff.
Rock climbing, I'm lucky to live in an area with literally hundreds of climbs, some quite close but others around an hour away. A good work-out for the whole body.
what's the best way to lose some stomach fat (i'm not obese, but just wanna stop seeing small folds instead of my belly button), as well as having some reasonably nice abs? I've looked at some programs but none of them seem to work for me.
Go out for cross country, within two weeks you will be in shape, unless you don't push yourself. Then find a group of buddies and lift weights at the YMCA, or your school. Just lift for a short while, I'd say under 30 minutes. After cross country is over go out for about every sport you cam, especially track, because you do some long distance running there! Hopefully you'll be good at hurdles and not break your wrist *cough cough cough*
Definitely have to to push yourself at cross-country. Funnest thing to do is find someone your speed and constantly compete against each other. Really, any sport is the way to go. Only annoying thing is that JV sports are usually a joke. I run track as well, but I'm white, so you can guess how great I am at that. Still fun, though. The thing with working out on your own is that it's hard to push yourself. You really need someone that has the same boundaries as you as keep pushing past them. And yeah, hurdles. Did a 400 once, every jump was terrifying.
I guess just sports, I used to play soccer and baseball, but cut it down to just soccer this year. A pissed of coach will sure as hell get you in shape.
