Fitaide Lite (the free version) was released yesterday and is now available for download. To celebrate the launch and demonstrate the versatility of the app, we are running a contest this weekend (13th & 14th March, 2010) with $150 of iTunes Gift Certificates up for grabs. Use Fitaide or Fitaide Lite to capture your activity and broadcast sessions over Twitter (using the in-built capability within the app) 3. Sessions should last a minimum of 20 minutes each within an average intensity of 40% Vo2Max or more per session 4. The number of distinct sessions broadcast between 12:00 am to 11:59 pm US EST each day (i.e. 13th & 14th March) on Twitter will be counted for every participant. Its important that each session is clearly labelled with a distinct activity prior to broadcast – if a participant has two similar activities (example jogging and running) then only one will be counted towards the contest total 5. The top 5 broadcasters each day will receive a $15 / GBP 10 iTunes Gift certificate each. In case of a tie, the total session time as well as the creativity of the activity (within the capabilities of Fitaide) will be considered in picking a winner 6. i am mad.....i am in the middle of a run with my ipod in my pocket.....i was exactly 20 minutes into my workout when my ipod screen went all white and didnt respond, so i had to force shut it off...losing my whole workout...i attacked 2 pics....the white screen, and a pic of the menu where it shows that i did 20 min of workout what i really want to know is if i am still entered.....i didnt put the word out on twitter, but ill put out a tweet @goldglover411 with my time and a link to the full version....i hope thats enough
Sorry to hear that ... please note that the contest is on the 13th & 14th, so you're totally safe. Sessions broadcast on each of these days between the mentioned times will be counted towards the contest entries. Thanks to the four who participated in the contest on Saturday - all four will receive gift certificates. Due to limited interest, only 4 participants on Saturday, we're going to suspend the contest for Sunday.
thats really too bad.....its not a hard contest to try...maybe its just that a lot of people on this site just sit on their couch watching tv and playing videogames, and they have no time to go outside.
I think the fault was perhaps ours ... we rushed into the contest and did not give enough time for people ... lessons learnt! We'll come back again with an updated contest in the next week or so ... keep your eyes open! Any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome
