While this game is wacky fun and all, the combat moves are pretty so few. Punch, punch harder, combo, combo harder, kick, stomp, flying kick. It would have be more dynamic to have things like weapon crates.
Hehe! Maybe i'll buy that game, finally I should have said that i buy at least one app per day, sometimes more, and a lot of music apps which can be expensive.. I know nothing about that game, and 4 bucks just for curiosity, it can hurt at the end of the week, when curiosity made me buying dozen of different stuff.. But hey, if it's so good, it's not curiosity, it's an obligation I hope i can trust you guys!
And another extra sale from me, not usually my type of game and I'll prob not get round to playing it for a while but can't believe the attitude and completely unfounded insults toward the dev! I thought I had mental health problems but I guess the saying is true, there is always someone who has it worse. Just felt like I kind of had to buy it after reading through the thread. GoodLuck with the game dev.
Gameplay limitations aside and judging by the video, the four dollars would be well spent on what looks to be one of the most creatively hilarious titles ever made. I don't think I've laughed so much in twenty minutes in a long, long time.
Anybody else having issues with the game not saving? It will auto save, but once I close the app out and go back to it later, I have to start over.
Yes. If app is closed (not closed, but minimized I guess would be the better word) it goes back to the beginning of the current chapter, sadly.
I already sent a message yesterday to the dev and he is already working in it, I am sure we will get an update soon.
Ok, I thought I was going crazy or something. Ill just wait to play it once there is (hopefully) an update.
Great game. Fairly easy to beat (I died 3/4 times throughout the whole game). There are a few suggestive themes for the younger users. Don't think the game is worth $3.99 in all honesty though. $1.99 at most.
I guess one thing that would have helped is if your character would have started with just the punch ability and you would have had to unlock all moves with loot you pick up via fallen foe. Then of course some additional moves. It would have given me the feeling that my monotonous, laborious, and repetitious work was paying off. As it is, the main payoff is the surprisingly entertaining story and the endless comedic value of the title - which is a great payoff in itself. I hope you guys realize I still love this game, just being honest about what held it back to me.
I'm at the end of Story Mode, with the flux capacitor thing, and I can't seem to figure out what to do or how to damage it. Any tips? Thanks in advance for any info.
Weird. I can't seem to damage or affect the thing, no matter which attack I try. I'm playing on an iPhone 4S; don't know if that's the issue or not. Anyway, thanks for the reply.
Damn purchased this finally, its cool, funny story and good gameplay i couldn't wait to see this for 1 USD or free again np cheers!!!!!
New update reduces app size to <50MB to allow download without Wifi, according to the release notes. Did no one tell the dev that you can download up to 100MB over cellular data now?
Don't know. I still can't damage or affect the final time circuit thing. Playing on a 4S—anyone else having trouble with this?
Wow, I'm not usually a fan of brawlers but Fist of Awesome is so much fun that I cant resist it... the sense of humor is hilarious. Couldn't stop laughing most of the time. That and punching deer, bears, dinosaurs and all. The noises deer do when attacking crack my laugh every time. Controls are really easy and superb, graphics are perfect, so is the music and every tiny detail about this game. Absolutely recommended to all gamers.
