Why. Have you even bothered to take a look to the screenshots? The graphical intense sprites, the quality artwork, the hours of work on the main menu...and now with such a low price? Id say get this now before the developer dies of waiting for someone to buy it
Man that developer is a total dick. Wonder how he feels about the app store two years later, given some of the quality games that have come out in the last couple of years. But that's hilarious that they made probably a few thousand dollars off of some superfluously wealthy morons.
I was going to pass on this cuz I thought it said $95.99 -BUT it said $94.99!! that's a buck cheaper! Don't know how many other games I bought when they dropped a buck... Maybe it's time to toft... Or buy groceries... Hm, tough decision. Maybe I'll think about it over a $20 white chocolate mocha latte! Shoot - now I'm broke. Well, maybe next time. You'll have to tell me what it's like. Didn't bother to read through the thread earlier but took a peek at that article. LOL. On one hand, it's funny that his little "experiment" showed how stupid people are. On the other hand, I hope Apple refunded the money to them. Who knows? Maybe somebody's kid bought the "game" while Daddy's password still worked (or maybe they even knew the password). What kind of pissed me off more about that article is that the Zits & Giggles dev was someone who worked on Super Meat Boy and completely trashed the App Store market. Huh? No doubt SMB is a great game, but it's also a game that undoubtedly has been a source of inspiration for a lot of iOS games (League of Evil, for instance). Some of the level of depth and graphics with recent iOS games far surpass the admittedly retro SMB. For him to call iOS gaming the equivalent of a Tiger electronic game from the 80s is ridiculous. Had respect for the SMB devs. Not so much after reading that article. Anyway, sorry for the thread derailment... ..must get back to saying how awesome Fish vs. Birds must be.
