considering they discontinued X2 football and made a whole new franchise I would expect this game to blow Fifa and x2 out of the water. We will see
The you tube videos were from earlier in development. If you'll notice from the most recent screenshots, there are things that were not in previous screenshots, like different color shoes. I also recall reading that the commentary has been expanded.
You misunderstood my point. I was disappointed @ the lack of Manager mode/caree mode, no online MP and they failed to update the roasters! Other than that, FIFA 11 is a beast when it comes to the gameplay and graphics. The closest soccer experience to the console on the iPhone.

Yeah, Manager Mode is the one thing that's glaringly obviously missing from the game. To be honest, I don't think the devs are too worried about us Touch Arcade forum members so they're probably not even aware of our thoughts re Manager/Career mode. Maybe we should tweet them in protest? From their website: A career / manager mode is something we’re definitely looking at for an update or future version. To be honest, I think I’ll hold off on this one to see whether or not a Manager mode appears in an update – that’s the one thing this game needs and it’s hard to believe that the devs still haven’t realised it. It’s hardly worth the cash if it doesn’t include the longevity of a transfer system (not remotely interested in MP). Playing with the same teams over and over gets very boring very quickly. The devs had a real chance to capitalise on FIFA11 not having a transfer system either, but they’ve blown it.
Doesn't work for me - I get the "Your request could not be completed" error. And what is with that fugly icon!?
Dammit, I've weakened and taken the plunge. It's only 59p I suppose, and if buying the game means we might get an update with Manager Mode, then I guess it's money well spent!
