Looks cool... But so many buttons onscreen might be hard to hit the right one

How can you make that judgment from still screenshots?

I think it looks on the same level as 2010. To surpass it's game play wont take much.

It's funny that they never think of that. Anyone with a case would have trouble hitting that button (which I would assume is most people).

PocketgamerUK said it'll be released by September 10th, NFL opening day!

My case never gets in my way of my fingers hitting the screen. I think some designers make their cases too bulky, that is the problem.

You can notice that Gameloft made a better crowd than EA, the crowd in Madden is just flat

    YYEEEE!!

it looks like when you run in madden you can spin move n all that whenever you want....as apposed to leaving you in these split decision moments....like in the other title.

if thats the case......theres going to be a virtual controller on screen at all times huh?

    i dont care....looks awesome!haha

oh yea....the crowd looks better in nfl 2010....but the players and the field look cleaner in madden.

That is true, however, look at the lines/perspective. In nfl, the farther it goes away to the distance, the worse the graphics get. The goal post is also starting to fade. In madden, it is even and crisp.

Crowds and grass look much better in NFL 2010, player models look slightly better in Madden (a bit less "square-ish).

The "Madden rulz" folks who will undoubtedly flood the topic stating that the graphics blow NFL 2010 away are either Madden fanboys (as opposed to fans) or work for EA.

Nobody can really say that Madden's graphics "blows away" NFL10 based on these screenshots. However I and many others will say that it clearly looks to me like Madden has slightly better graphics and more polish. Quite frankly, I am more concerned with gameplay and features which after reading the details/specs, there is no doubt in my mind that Madden will "blow away" Gameloft's weak effort!

I think its unfair to compare two completely different arenas... The NFL 2010 arena is aesthetically better than the other one.

Anyways I've always liked Madden so I'll pick it up. Unfortunately I think it's gonna be like Madden '10 for the Xbox 360 AND NFL 2010 which requires you to press weird buttons to juke and such...

    :(

Can someone tell me why they don't just do swipe right to spin right and swipe left to spin left and double tap to lower your shoulder? It seems like such a better command type...

How about we wait until we've played both games before we try to compare them? Or is that just crazy talk?

Yes Yes, but that's no fun;)

Sizzlakalonji, what are your thoughts on the features and control buttons? I am more impressed with those than the screenshots.

Yeah, I agree that the grass and crowd look worse but I think the characters look better. I might actually end up getting a football game for once if this gets good reviews.
Edit: Second thought, the grass doesn't look too bad.
