    iPod 4th gen click wheel
    iPhone 3G
    iPad 3

I've given up on purchasing iPhones though, too expensive and too quickly outdated. Maybe an iPad 5 or one of the Wacom HD's for art rather than gaming.

    Ipod Touch 1st gen 16gb
    Ipod Touch 2nd gen 32gb
    Ipod Touch 4th gen 32gb
    Then:
    Ipad 1st gen 16gb
    Ipad 2 32gb
    Ipad 3 32gb
    Ipad 4 64gb

Yeah now that i'm writing it, that's quite a lot of Idevices...

  4. Wow, no wonder you didn't like your ipad 3 with only 16 gb, man, I hate having only 64 gb, a 16 gb ipad 3 would be a headache, I would have to be deleting apps every time I played a game almost.

  5. Wow, having had every single ipad is kinda cool. Especially too cause you were one of the first hdmi users. I gotta figure out since I have an ipad 3 whether to get an ipad 5 or 6... Will be a tough call in a couple of months. But I really need a 128 gb system cause I load my ipad to the max. Actually maybe waiting for a 256 gb version is wiser.

Definitely go 256GB, though by then Apple might pull that sneaky trick they did with retina and release 4K display that doubles app sizes again, thus making your 256GB iPad hold effectively half the same amount of apps you would otherwise fit in, so making you constantly deleting stuff holding out for 512GB or buying multiple iPads...

How can you tell whether a touch is first or second gen?

No volume rocker? Then it was (aside from an ipod classic 80, I think, Gb) iPods) an ipod touch 2nd gen 32 gb. The screen is cracked and covered in coffee, but I still have it. Gotta transfer Puzzle Quest (the original), Glyder, and some others to my PC. Damn thing can't be killed.

...and I don't think Connector uses a PC, so no app backups.

Oh yeah...I actually joined TA from mobile Safari on that old ipod. My original account was, iirc, opened around Appvent 2008 (if you've been here long enough you know what I'm referring to). Forgot my user name and password, rejoined in 09, forgot it again...magically remembered much later.

  14. Yeah, this is getting ridiculous that I have to buy a laptop just for ipad game saves and itunes song transfers. Anyone have a $100 ok laptop for sale? Hehe.. :p

Make sure you buy a Mac laptop. iTunes don't work right on Windows. My PC iTunes is totally borked and refuses to recognise any of my iDevices despite several reinstallations.

My next PC is going to be a Mac, because iTunes...

Yeah...Steve Jobs was an evil genius...

Connector, all you need is storage space. Try buying a used netbook. Heck, if you lived near me I would GIVE you a laptop; I have a spare IBM Thinkpad and an Acer Netbook, neither of which get any use. Either that or look for a barebones machine on Newegg.

Well, if you really got a spare that you don't need, I could easily pay for shipping costs to Los Angeles, and give you a gc bonus too or something. I was kinda of hesistant juist to get a laptop just basically for game saves since my laptop was stolem at a house party more out of principle, but nowdays getting sick and tired of almost everyday deleting at least 2 gb on my ipad, even 64 gb storage space sucks.

In the near future, I am hoping that my ipad can be both my laptop and game console, but still for now a laptop is kinda mandatory for a serious ios gamer. I have a dream, that I will never again need a laptop, that a tablet will suffice, but alas, reality of the situation is that one needs a laptop now for ipad game saves and to install songs and vids. Wish it was otherwise, but I don't see this trnd changing til maybe 2 years from now when hybrid tablets like the Microsoft surface or beefed up newest ipads become more popular, and icloud storage can be used for everything.

First iDevice: ipod touch 4g 64gb
    Then: ipad 2 64 gb, iphone 4s 32gb and ipad 4 64gb.
The only purchase I didnt enjoy was the retina ipad one as the 128 gb version was announced literally 3 days after I got the 64 one and kinda broked my heart.

Couldn't you have just returned the 64GB iPad?
