Fire Emblem Mobile Nintendo have announced through their Japanese Twitter that we will be hearing about the Fire Emblem mobile game tomorrow - this is a placeholder topic until we have a confirmed name and hopefully some pictures or videos in the stream tomorrow! Before that happens, though, we'd love to hear what you're expecting from the title, and your general thoughts on the series! I still haven't had time to get into Fates, but absolutely loved Awakening on 3DS, and while obviously this App Store iteration will be simplified, I think the series has a strong basis for a mobile title. The big question really is if it'll retain its strategic elements, or take on another guise, but I guess we'll see.
Nintendo will reveal more tomorrow at an event! What we know so far it;s a Free to Play game and DENA is involved but I enjoyed what they did with Final Fantasy Record Keeper so I will reserve judgement until more info comes out. Right now Nintendo is wrapped up in their Switch console, which I believe will be bad in terms of sales. Anyone else think it will tank in long run, maybe not first 6 months but don't see the excitement extending out past that.
I agree, I'm actually quite tired of the genre and would like as close an experience as the original games

Basically, I'm expecting Final Fantasy Record Keeper, with Fire Emblem IP. What I'm hoping for is a kind of retooled 16-bit or even 8-bit era Fire Emblem, like Square Enix have done with Adventure of Mana and Romancing SaGa 2. But, er, I don't hold out much hope for that.
I would like to try this but I'm concerned with it's story. No "permadeaths" sucks as a Fire Emblem fan. Random summon of heroes? Seriously?
Hope so! I'm in Vancouver B.C. Canada ##, so hopefully it's coming today (feb 2nd in other parts of the world lol) I'm hoping!
Fairly sure it will be a worldwide release at the same time, like Super Mario Run. That was around 4pm-5pm GMT on Feb 2. So it might not still be Feb 2 for everybody - and sadly not on the stroke of midnight for each individual time zone!
I'm constantly checking already Can't wait to play it although I wish it was a premium after watching some vids it doesn't seem bad at all for a FTP
