Working on translation into Chinese next week... it's a larger market and Lifeline did well there. Is anyone here a native Mandarine speaker and interested in a free code to help spot check the translation?

Off to go play some D& D now! You've inspired me to dig into a campaign again.

I put this game on my Things app to buy as iOS 11 App Store doesn’t have a bookmarked or whatever it was called section. Eventually I will get myself a copy too. I love stories like yours. I have 3 young boys that all play various consoles, genres and each have varying tastes.

I’m trying to become more active in all the forums here so I can get a better feel for how things run deep inside the TA underground. Where indie games and fans are king.

When I was a small child, I always played the game "Digger" with a friend. It was not an Amiga and no C64! It was a big box, the disks were the same as the C64. The monitor had a black background and the graphic was monochrome in orange.
Digger: It was a duck, one like children with a string behind them pulling. The setup was the ground where sacks of gold were hidden, and diamonds which one had to collect. They were hunted by small monsters, similar to "PAC-Man". They could only run in the corridors that you have created. If you have waited under a sack of gold until one of the monsters came, then blown right or left, you could kill them. Or pushing the gold into another course. As with "Pac-Man", there was a cherry, you could reach them in time, you could chase and eat the monsters. The computer was already very old in 1989, so I assume that "Digger" was the pioneer of "Pac-Man". The game was from "Windmill Software (1983)". Here is a screenshot of a colored version of the game: [IMG]. Here you can play the new version for free: http://www.futrega.org/digger/. At this time, much has happened in my life, which is why I often have to remember it. I loved this game!

    Edit:
When you say family, do you mean your own family, or a family working environment, or a mixture of both?

I like how you think.... fans are king. :) I did this for myself.. to prove i could make a game, write a story, set up version control, etc... and now the reward is others enjoying what I made. Oh and I'll send you a code. :)

I mean my own family... husband and son, 700sqft of loft... it's time for a bigger home! ;)

Thanks for sharing the Digger game.

It has been mentioned already, but Ready Player One brings back great memories of the '80s. I do wish there was a reference to Coleco Vision, which (in my household) preceded the Atari 2600.

On a related note, I am excited for the movie. It looks a little too modern but I am curious what Spielberg will do with it. The negative comments on the book that have come up recently are annoying.

I am curious what it is like working with your family. Some people say family / spouses working together is a bad idea, but I think if it is as partners then it is a different story and enhances communication. Either way, best wishes to you and your family.

I have a China account since I used to live there, but reading proficiency is not native, so not of a level to do checks for you, but great that you are localizing it.

I just released 1.2 live. https://itunes.apple.com/cn/app/id1216875269?mt=8 is the link for the Chinese store page. I'm not 100% if it's listed correctly yet, but I can certainly send you a promo code to redeem if that's working for you!
