Hi guys: Just wanted to let you know that Finger Tied Jr. (aka Finger Tied for iPhone and iPod touch) is coming out on Thursday, May 23rd! Well, technically Wednesday night. Finger Tied was a game I released only for the iPad last fall. Apple picked it as one of their "Best of the App Store" for 2012 in the "New Ways to Play" category. The game is played by sliding up to 4 fingers around on the screen in an attempt to fill in shapes, without lifting any fingers off the screen. Think of it as Twister for your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch. It's a great game to play by yourself, but it's also a blast to play with friends on the same device. I've had a lot of people ask if I was going to do a version for iPhone and iPod touch, but I didn't want to do it unless I could make sure it worked well. I spent some time working on an iPhone version after the iPad version became popular, but abandoned it after I couldn't get it to feel right. I decided to come back to it this spring, completely changed how I was thinking about the game, and I redesigned the game. The core of the game is the same great game you love from the iPad version, but it contains all new puzzles, designed specifically to be fun on the iPhone/iPod touch's screen. I'm really excited about how it turned out. The game has a big set of built-in puzzles I've created for you to play. But Finger Tied Jr. also contains a puzzle editor and the ability to share & download puzzles online. I hope you'll enjoy the game when it comes out.
