Well worth the time to download. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #3 nightc1, Jan 22, 2013 Yeah I've had this one a while too. I think it's the closest thing to Outrun on iOS... right? I wonder though, whats the difference between this version and Final Freeway Coin? Seems like it's just a republish but the regular version seems to get more positive feedback. Also, locked in the license for Fractal Combat X to help the dev... though I probably should consider Final Freeway 2r since I enjoyed FF quite a bit. TheCrib Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2010 273 0 0 Programmer Tokyo, Japan http://oykgames.com #6 TheCrib, Jan 23, 2013 FF Coin is the always free but ad-based version of FF, which is normaly at $0.99. This promotion is aimed at getting Fractal Combat X noticed, since the press has been mostly ignoring it Yeah, it goes without saying that if you liked FF, FF2 is a definite pick up, although it's not free. There's a Final Freeway 2??? *runs to the app store* QS nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #9 nightc1, Jan 23, 2013 Judging by the reviews and what the game is about, it appears that its more of a Top Gear / Top Gear 2 (SNES) style racer. Similar graphics to Outrun (Like Top Gear), but it's more of a track racer with lots of competition. The reviews also make it sound like it's broken as far as ever having a chance of winning. I put a watch on it, if it goes free I'll give it a chance but I think if I want to buy something for an Outrun fix... Final Freeway 2r seems to be the best option since it has branching paths and other stuff similar to the Outrun series. What I want on iOS is Sega to port over Outrun 2006 Coast to Coast. The PSP version was pretty great as were the console versions. I loved drifting through crazy turns in that game. Fractal Combat & Fractal Combat X (by the same dev) are decent arena styled flight shooters (not sure what to compare to, maybe a really basic Star Wars Rogue Squadron mixed with some TopGun?). Both rely on tilt steering which so far has worked well for me. X has some IAP (which doesn't seem necessary) and more of a story behind it... but both games seem pretty decent. I don't understand the complaints on the controls since I was able to blast through the first two missions in FC without issue and FCX seemed the same. The experience is one that you need to have. And if you enjoy this one, get the second one, it's even better; that is, if you're willing to spend a tiny bit of coin for some good fun! Plays like the old game Outrun. Good fun, Highly recommended! Thought Nightc1 likes it much more than me.
