Make sure you send them a support email so they know about it. You guys are further in than a lot of people so some may not have noticed it yet. I sent them a support mail when there was that "sneak by Aerith's room" bug.
Pretty sure it's not delta... Im still downloading it after an episode and a half of Battlestar Galactica.
It's definitely delta. There's no way in hell, on my connection, it was done in about an hour and 30 mins. I'm gonna guess it's somewhere around the 300 MB mark.
Again, it's impossible that I could have downloaded 1.5 GBs in less than 8 hours. It's definitely a delta update that's over the 100 MB 3G limit.
Seems like it might be worth getting now for $10.99... Disappointed it doesn't take up the full iPhone 6 screen...
It's presented in the aspect ratio that was used on PS and PC, but I'm curious if people would like to see it squashed by scaling up the horizontal size just to fit the full iPhone screen. They gave us that option with FF III and I never thought I'd use it. But I actually did and got used to it. However, with FF VII, I like how it's normal aspect ratio allows for half of the buttons to not obscure the actual gameplay.
Thanks for your feedback so you've had no issue with the game on the iPhone or ipad with the original aspect ratio, how is the controls? [/QUOTE] Well, the controls are actually better than the PS emulators I've tried in the past. They are quite responsive and are nice once you get used to them, similar to Monster Hunter on iOS. But for FF VII the controls are just an overplayed controller skin. But it's not as bad as it seemed when it came out.
Wooooot! Got an iPod 6th gen for Christmas which means I can FINALLY continue the game from just outside of Midgar! I tolerated it on my old iPod 5 but once I got to the world map it just became completely unplayable so I had to wait until now. Sofaking happy that I finally have FF7 in my pocket! (And at work heeheehee)
Well, it looks like I won't be replicating my perfect file on iOS, because the Speed Coaster game on iOS seems like it will be next to impossible. So no Umbrella or Flayer for me this time. #
There's a...thing, not sure if it's a feature or bug, but carried over from the PC version. If you shoot at the propeller of the zeppelin you can get thousands of points in just a few seconds. Here's a quick video showing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6QkbWAQEcs The trick for iOS seems to be to have the cursor just a hair above the bottom right of the screen and hold down fire just as you pass the zeppelin the second time. Had to abuse this myself after days of trying the proper way but I don't feel too guilty given the ridiculous speed and imprecise controls.
lmao yeah try for the info but I actually remembered about that trick right after making that post and hit it and got 14000 puts! Hahaha! And yeah don't feel dirty about doing that. Especially since I've done it the legit way back on the PlayStation a jillion times! And as you said...these controls are horrendous.
FFX has an option to watch either the full summon or just the attack at the end. But yeah, gotta sit through 'em in 7.
