I also experience slow downs when running around on the map area. My solution is to open the menu, then close it, and the framerate normalizes on the map area.

 

Yup the world map sometimes got slow downs even on 6+
Maybe it's a ram issue?

 

Anybody far enough in the game to try these? And does anyone remember if they worked in the PC version?

I had to delete a couple things to get it to update but after it was all said and done still took up same space.
Yeah it's full I'm sure

 

It's a delta update. Took only a few minutes with my crappy internet speed.

 

Cmon... Philippines is like top 2 at least in the worst internet connection speeds lists.

 

Gotta love Delta updates. But for some reason, my phone was holding onto some space, and after the update I went from 775mb to 1.4GB free space. Makes me love Final Fantasy VII even more!

 

What cave of gi fix did they do? I went thru it flawlessly.. According to the faqs.

 

How about compare it to indonesia #

 

Anyone have any tips on how to do the parade part correctly? I was hoping the update would help but it did not..

edit: so I can't get "A" button to do the gun flipping. It doesn't do anything. I tried the other buttons and the only one that works is the button that makes your character walk (which won't help TV ratings). I really need that $5k gil since I spent all my money on Fort Condor defense..

 

This issue I do not understand either, certain parts of the world map frame rate slows down. I wish square can fix that. If they redesigned 7 for touch etc I doubt we would had these issues

I had a similar issue I gave up on the parade got the 6 potions and it was easier to get the HP materia. I recommend getting the HP materia than the sword you buy the sword at next town for cheap. The materia is 8000 Gil

 

It's optimised for the screen size (button layout designed to be usable on a 4" screen) and resolution of iPhone 5 (3D assets and text are rendered for 1136 * 640). What it doesn't necessarily mean is performance has been optimised for the iPhone 5. This usually also means that no special consideration has been taken for the 6/6+, they'll just be stretched versions of what the iPhone 5 screen displays.

 

If you need the money for the materia you can buy in the next town seal at the very least try to buy revive
