Word of warning Word of warning to the people thinking of buying this... recently, Square Enix released their odd "all in one" companion app for everything Final Fantasy. At the same time, they ripped FF1 off of the app store and put it inside the companion app and then since it's part of the companion app, it now requires you to be online to play it. I would not be surprised in the slightest if they started doing this to their other titles as well, to cross-promote everything.
Because then you'd be able to see the on screen buttons and get turned off. (Which I personally think the on screen buttons are a necessary evil but anyway).
Ok, how do you sneak past Aeris in her house? I'm pressing B to walk but the floor is still creaking every time.
I had to do it without walking for anyone else having an issue there. Just went to the banister and ran past her door.
The way I did it is go directional hold b down and press the arrow once pause for a few seconds and repeat until you head downstairs. I caved since no one was telling how the game plays on 5c I just took a chance so far works fine no issues
Ok... finally got some time to play and I feel really stupid. I got to a save point icon... thingy. I walk over it and it talks about accessing save from the save menu. Um, where is that? I thought I saved the game, but then exited and restarted and apparently I have 0 saves. Kind of annoying. What am I missing here to get to a save while in game?
Press Y when over the same you see at the bottoms of the options the same game click on it and save to one of the available slots
Yeah, I have, on 9.3. It works fine, the only problem I got was that it no matter what region your phone is on, it gives you English. I wanted to play the game in Japanese, but nothing worked. Maybe it's a 9 bug, because the FAQ says changing regions works.
In my case and a few others confirmed here, DONT TRY SNEAKING. JUST RUN. Seems to be a glitch that it's the other way around.

Storm? Where do you live? I don't play RPG anymore since Sky of Arcadia but this one looks like a must have, I play FF8 on my computer but not 7 as it wasn't working at that time for some kind of reason, I want it but fear I'll only play 2 hours and then stop just like too many games unless it's really good.
