They were? It's been so long that I've forgotten, but I thought those quotes were (relatively) intact. Check your options menu from the world map and make sure you haven't turned off options 6, 7, or 8. If you have, turn them back on and see what happens.

Sigh I understand that faithful translation of the ability quotes can be difficult though. Some exotic elements are almost doomed to be lost when you try to translate something poetic from Japanese/Chinese.
Anyone having problems saving to iCloud? Everytime I save it says: ERROR Unable to save data to iCloud etc.

Sorry Ed I don't use iCloud so I don't have any idea. Are you on ios9? I heard the new iexplorer can access read/write for save files if the app enables itunes sharing. Though I don't know what that is. But if it works you should be able to transfer using that?
Been a while Law! Miss the hunts with EP. I have iMazing, and I think it can do the same thing. So it looks like another iOS 9 problem
