I'm surprised at how well this plays on my iPad Mini Retina. I remember when I bought it originally there was performance issues on my old device. Nice to see it run so smoothly now. I can't even count how many times I beat this one.
Icloud save transfer from Iphone to Ipad I currently have the Iphone version of FFT WOTL. I am thinking about purchasing the IPad version of WOTL. I was wondering if anyone can confirm - if I have an icloud save on the Iphone version, does it transfer over to the Ipad version? Or do I need to install the Iphone version on Ipad in order to access my cloud save? Thanks again,
According to Shaun in a recent RPG Reload he did on FFT, "At least iCloud support works between the two versions, and the iPhone version of the game does scale decently on iPad if you want to take that route."

iCloud Save Problem! Hi guys, I purchased the iPad HD version and ran into a problem. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. ICloud worked fine on my iPhone version of the app. Since I purchased the iPad HD version of the app, the iCloud save transferred from iPhone to iPad. However, since then my iCloud save has not worked properly: If I have an old iCloud save, and I attempt to overwrite this old save once in the save menu - at the time of the save, the save menu displays the latest save (having overwritten the old save) - however, if I return to the game and re-enter the save/load menu, I would see the old save (instead of the latest save) in iCloud. If I attempt to overwrite the old save twice while in the save menu (for example, one at 8:00pm and another at 8:01pm), at the time of the save - the save menu will display the latest 8:01pm save as the final save. However, if I return to the game & re-enter the save/load menu, I would see my first save attempt (8:00pm), not the second (8:01pm). Right now both of my Iphone & IPad version of the app has this problem. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a way to fix this? Is there something wrong with my iCloud setting? SOMEONE HELP!! Guys i have a urgent question as i dont understand whats happening?! My jp for my knight job has froze!!? It does not go up? Even though i have maxed out squire! PLEASE someone help as i dont understand why its not decreasing and i cant find nothing on the internet! So is this a bug? Some other jobs are also not really changing, but its the knight that is not moving at all! So how do i increase this?! Please HELP!!!! Thanx! ✌#️
I don't quite understand your situation. Is one of your characters using the knight job? Are they doing things in battles?
Wow a reply from shaun himself! Im honoured!! Im sorry if this sounds stupid, but ive started playing and as you know jp's go into each job, like squire, chemist.... I got plenty of jps in these so i can use all the squire traits and chemist traits like using diffrent potions, but when i try to learn knight my jp wont increase?? My job points are fixed at 151 and ramza is now level 11? Ive tried equipping arts of war as they are the knight traits but as you guessed it since i have not levelled up in knight job there are no arts of war to use. The same can also be said with archer and white and black mage... So am i missing something? Any help would be massively appreciated! Thankyou
Wait, you changed Ramza over to the Knight job, right? I don't see why he wouldn't be gaining jp in that job if you did. By the way, you don't have to use Arts of War in order to gain jp for the Knight job. On a side note, I really need to pick this one up again... just as soon as I finish 7
Well i thought is that the case.....but i cant change jobs to a knight or any other!! Please do you know how to do that, as i cant for the life of me change from a squire to anything else!
By the way Nomad thankyou for trying to help, i think my problem is i dont know how to change jobs...for ramza my squire is mastered and my chemist is level 3, so how on earth do i change jobs!? I have tried to but it wont change from squire which is the default job. I have clicked on party roster and it comes up with the list of jobs, squire, chemist, knight, white mage black mage.......but when i clicl o.k on the one i want, Ramzas job does not change?? It still says squire? #
YES YES YES i did it! Lol thanx man your suggestion led me to the answer, changing jobs was done in party roster but not whats displayed, you have to press menu to change jobs haha its confusing doing it that way i think, but i got there in the end..... So thanks again! P.s yeah its an amazing game defo worth playing multiple times
Sorry im looking for help again! Ive put job points into my knight ability so i can equip heavy armour and sheild regardless the job.... So does this mean if i am a squire ir a white mage that i can use the knight armour chainmail and sheild? Reason im asking is ive changed to squire and the armour and sheild that i wore as a knight cannot be equipped? I have tried equipping and it is not showing even though i have plenty of extra armour and sheilds to use? So am i looking at this wrong?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You have to equip the Support ability Equip Armor before you can equip those items when not in an appropriate class.
Excuse me, a silly question here: I heard that some abilities have relative quotes (something like stasis sword's "life is short " thing), yet I never saw any in the game. Did I miss anything?
They were removed in War of the Lions unfortunately. You can also only see them in the original version. That's probably the only downside of the newer version.
