if i liked dancing this would be my new sig. But i can't stand dancing so for that no sig! Terrible comment....... Your probably too young to know a good game when you see it.......
How long is the main story? How long does this potentially offer? Very important factors for me right now... time is getting tight and I'm not going to buy a game that last more than 10 hours... ('endless' games excluded)
I'm still wondering to myself if that logic makes any sense. As for your question: no FF game lasts less than 10 hrs. Sorry
Ehm... it'll likely take just a wee bit longer than ten hours to finish (try several times that), particularly if you've never played it before. Wait, so now the complaints are that games are too long? We're never going to win, are we?
Which part of my logic doesn't seem right to you? There's a difference between the 'total replay value' and 'main quest length' with games, sometimes the former easily clocking a few times more than the main quest. FF is no exception. You've just rendered madman's comment into an uneducated comment of some sort (esp thanks to your repeated attempts). Oh and I'm not complaining that the game's too long, it's just my time table is too tight. I love the game and thanks to your assurance I'm going to buy it.
played a bit the gba version and if i correctly remember all battle locations are quite small and battles depend a lot on character choices. so i would say battles in ja, ufo or fallout are more advanced in the sense of tactics or strategy, is it right?
The part that doesn't make sense is how your decision to buy this game is based on your amount of free time to play. However, there is no rule that you must exceed the amount of free time you are limited to, to play this game. 1) there is an autosave feature. 2) for heavy players it may take a week to finish, but for most it will take quite a bit longer based on your free time. And how does appletini's comment tie into mine in any sort of way? I was answering your question, your welcome. Aw geez, apparently your another one who can't read.
I have never played any RPG apart from Baldur's Gate II. Which i enjoyed immensely and had completed any mini-quest, side-quest, quest a little north-east to the side-quest, and others. I loved every aspect of that game: the story, the character levelling up, the quests, the visuals, the music, the character and NPC interactions.... On the other hand, I have tried Chaos Rings on iPod, which I just couldn't get into. A big reason for this was that I found playing it on iPod singularly unsatisfying. But that by means was not the only reason. Overall I gave the game a good 2 hours, but got bored after that. So with this limited experience, any clue whether or not Final Fantasy Tactics is a good buy for me? Again, never played any other Final Fantasy games... only heard, heard a lot actually, about them.
Ever heard of personal lifestyle? Or gaming tastes? Some people like long and drawn out RPGs eg. Oblivion which I found to be too open world for my tastes. I tend to get bored over a game's story after 10 hours play with no explicit reasons. Is this a feature of me that is measurable by your logic? And how does appletini's comment tie into mine in any sort of way? You're either not making any sense or just being plain [insert offensive word/adjective here]: 1. The first part of your response is flawed logic and does not constitute as an answer. 2. The second response was too general. Also, I was half optimistic that it would be under/around 10 hours. appletini proved the game's main quest/story was within my 'comfort play length' and rendered your answer inaccurate and wrong.
Wow, sorry I'm not gonna argue with a person who can't read. Just know this, your logic and perspective is entirely flawed. There is no argument there. Enjoy the game.
Sorry, in the interest of not misleading you, I was being ironic when I said it'd be a "wee bit longer" than ten hours; my comment "try several times that" was meant to indicate the game could take closer to 20-30 hours (or more) to work through, depending on your playstyle. The game could still fit in with your time, though, as it is a tightly-scripted work primarily composed of chunks of story situated around (and within) tactical battles that form the bulk of the game. You could simply play one or two battles a day and take the story as a kind of ongoing serial adventure to be experienced over a longer period of time. If that wouldn't work out, though, you'd be better off passing on this one, because it is quite lengthy.
Well, I would certainly love to because you have: 1. No logic to speak of. Criticizing me of my decision to buy a game pending on my commitment to it. 2. No respect for other people to speak of, therefore you shall receive none in return. 3. You're mad
Haha. Dude, check the post above yours. I simply have no business arguing with someone who can't read properly. Your posts honestly don't make sense. It is almost shameful.
