*grin* Hey, buddy, cheer up! I'm just kidding around a bit! (Maybe unless you admit defeat. ) But maybe you should just avoid posting nonsense about clues, release dates, the art of writing numbers and priority lists. Everything was wrong. Now I leave you to the other lions that which you have convinced about a FFT release today. They're hungry.
Can this be resorted to pm between you two now? If the devs were reading the forums (Google translate?) they'd be laughing (at you two or Google translate) and if they ever respond to explain this whole mess, the forum will laugh at their response because one of you will fall from grace (or at Google translate).
It's safe to say that his speculations were wrong. Now we can all get back to waiting for some facts (or in this case, clues).
I now say it will come next Wednesday, If im wrong then you can boil me slap me whatever you want to do
Error: target is out of range/reach. No line of sight. "Do you REALLY want to do this? Attacking a citizen of Australia could potentially spark a nuclear war... if the nation decides to stop exporting uranium" Series question: I'm not following this thread (jumped in for the discussion...) or game... now I do... So, how is this version different from the PSP's? More/less features? Graphics? Controls?
Ask Twiggy. He knows everything, he just has to get his clues together. Serious: Graphics are improved + retina support. Slowdowns are fixed. Autosave functions added (in case you get a call or msg). No multiplayer support, same single player game. Controls should be spot on, as always.
Yeah, the slowdowns, especially of that healing spells were all fixed, game should run very smooth on all supported devices. Moreover, they completely re-worked the graphics. They're niw sharp & crisp, as well as the cg cutscenes. Somewhere in this thread (and on Squenix fb page) are screenshot comparisons. Looks a lot better on iOS.
It is beyond me why a developer would ever release a game so eminently well-suited for mobile multiplayer (asynchronous matches, in particular) as a turn-based squad game, unless they did not have the material means to do so. And I'm guessing lack of programmers and money is not something Squeenix suffers from One new phenomenon iOS development has brought to light (or possibly even to life) is that we have to look towards the small and indie developers for cutting-edge development and functions. (As opposed to polish and production values, a realm still dominated by those with the manpower and cash.) The big dogs do create excellent games for iOS (and I was pleasantly surprised to see how EA, Squeenix, Capcom, Namco, etc, etc, all begun releasing games for iOS that are more than just glorified ads for/dumbed-down button masher versions of their console games), and they produce among the more polished and better-looking games (though they rarely push the graphical envelope), but they were among the last to include fast app switching and Retina support in their games when iPhone 4/iOS 4 arrived, and they are still particularly bad at including well-implemented online multiplayer, if any at all. That said, it is nice to see iOS gets an updated, retouched version of Tactics.
Poppycock. Make it two weeks. One for review and approval, one for release announcement and advertising.
It is also beyond me why us consumers do not make a vocal push for S/E to implement Multiplayer in a later update. This game is brilliant for multiplayer. After years and years of replaying it on PS1, I always had a vision for a multiplayer version of it. When the PSP version was released a co-worker and I both bought it and would play daily over the local signal and enjoyed every moment. It makes perfect sense with the wi-fi and 3G capabilities of the iPhone and iPad to have a multiplayer version of this game. The story mode only piques your interest for so long and after that you want a challenge. Once your characters are maxed out, playing the computer just doesn't do it for you anymore. You want a challenge. Only real people that can adapt different strategies to different situations can give you that challenge. Now we all know there are "no current plans to add multiplayer support", but with an outcry from the fans and players we CAN make it happen down the road. Theres no reason why it shouldn't have multiplayer support. This isn't Angry Birds. The game is played in a side vs. side setting as we all know. While I am ecstatic to play the game again, I'm disheartened by the lack of multiplayer as I'm sure most of us are. So let's try to make it happen. Let Square hear you. Sound off like you've got a pair. We'll create a petition if necessary. It can be done successfully.
Gather your torches, ready your weapons! A pitchfork in your right and torch in your left, collect your footing, wipe your cold sweats and CHAAAARGGE!! and don't stop until we get multiplaer features. I'm rooting for you guys, seriously.
Give me an M, can I get a U, give me an L, give me a T, let's hear an I, give ne a P, let me hear you yell L, say A, left side of the room Y, now right side with an E, now everyone an R, now scream! What's that spell!!! WHAT's that SPELL!!!
