I hope you are right The picture you linked was posted on Facebook almost four weeks ago though. So we don't know if a release was aimed at the 27th at that time... as we know in the case of FFT: plans might have changed slightly. Still, lets hope for a release this week EDIT: Just to add. The pic is subtitled with the following line on FB (posted on 06/30): "So now the release date is set to July...twen..blah..blah.. or it could be the end of July."
Currently if you make a game it should work on a 3GS Device. Unless it requires a Camera which this game won't so yes it should work....

At least not until Apple approved? *sigh*... again: Shiina said that the RELEASE DATE will be officially announced AFTER the game was reviewed and approved by Apple and IS ready for sale. This way, the date Shiina wrote down CAN'T be the release date. I doubt we see an official release date today. And today is the last day before the game could appear in the NZ App Store (less than 23 hours). LOL, thread is getting really funny, btw. It's not arguing over writing techniques over numbers. It's just proving you wrong, which you are. It cannot be a five unless he is just posing and didn't actually write any of it. And don't kid yourself that companies such as SE don't get any sort of help from Apple. They may contact them about release, and so a quick release is likely. The 28th is extremely likely.

Yep, , If they say it works for iPhone 3GS then it means it will work for iPod Touch 3G 32Gb+. Unless it requires a camera which i doubt.

LOL, nonsense. But even if it is this way - where's the release date announcement from Square/Enix? Show me and I am happy. But, as I said, your hopes are too high. It won't come out this Thursday IF they have submitted it yesterday. Everything else is just guessing. The only ones who know are S/E and, of course, Apple.
