did they fix the slow-down problems in PSN version? if not, then i wouldn't even think twice about getting the iphone one. this game should be a lot easier to play on iphone to fwiw.

Actually, they didn't...which is about my only gripe with the game. If you cast a Cure spell that hits 4 party members, you may as well just put down the PSP and go make a sandwich while it finishes. With all the other improvements they made for the War of the Lions port, it's baffling why they didn't fix the spell effect slowdown issue. It's not like the PSP hardware couldn't handle it.

I'm going to hold off and see what the feeback for the iPhone version is. If the touch controls are manageable, the slowdown issues are fixed, and all the cutscenes are intact, I'm leaning towards picking it up and just starting over. If not, then I'll stick with the PSP flavor.

    Video out support

Does anyone know how to get video out support to an HDTV?
I would love to play fft on a bigger screen and don't have an iPad. As far as I know video out is only supported by movies and slideshows I've seen people have done it with some game called moto or something I have a video out chord for iPhone iPod look like the device supports it but I'd rather not jailbreak my phone any help here guys?

Edit: Disregard what I wrote below. Simple answer, no you can't display out on the iPhone without jailbreaking. The HDMI Apple adapter works with certain apps only and those are limited to multimedia, music and video.

Jailbreak then displayout app on Cydia. If you bought the hdmi adapter from apple it works perfectly at 720p. It will also connect to your tv if you want to buy a third party component or composite iPhone hookup, but those are limited to 480p. I had the official Apple component cable and let me just say that is the worst designed piece of junk I have ever paid for. Luckily I returned it within 30 days. The Apple cables are slick aluminum which looks nice but once you plug it into your tv, there is no grip to pull it out.

The slowdown was introduced in the PSP version, it was not present in the PSX version. But him stating it is fixed was a reference to the iOS port of the PSP version - SE DLG has stated on their Facebook page that the slowdown has been addressed.

    Really?

I suggest you check the facts first: Max Adventure, Chopper 2, The Incident, etc all supports VGA and HDMI-out on iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 natively -- unless they are not games at all...

Running all iOS games on TV is fun, but simple mirroring is not very appealing to me. Dedicated games like Real Racing 2 HD and Chopper 2 actually clear your TV screen without any controls.

Can I clarify this? It says on their post the it wont work on 3G not 3rd gen devices. 3GS is a 3rd gen device and they explicitly say that it is capable.

Uh-oh, nudity! Hope this won't cause a hit on the reject button.

Haha, with this, it will surely get a 17+ rating. :D

We will blame you if it is not coming out, just saying...

And this is not the release date. Where does it say so? It could also be a 5 or a 8 or a 9. Most likely, it was a 5. The day of submission. Sorry to say but you will have to wait two more weeks, as it seems now.

Unless the guy writing the number has some sort of strange way of writing numbers, that's NOT a 5.

Normally for fives most people will start at the top, and do a horizontal line similarly to what he has drawn and to that of a seven. But when you draw a five, you will go from right to left, and for a seven left to right. If he were drawing a five the pen would be on the left of the line, while it is not so must be a seven.

    tl;dr - it's NOT A FIVE.

    Edit: It's 7 or 8.

Yes was gonna state the same thing, Looks like the start of a seven with his pen stopping at the start of the diagonal drop. It can not be a 5 because why would he be drawing a 5 that way :p,

Also at Vovin, As i have explained countless times that i eventually hope you can get into your head all the clues i am only rounding up the info that i know and have found. And to me it will be the 27th. This will no way be a pic of the submission day and games usually get released on a Wednesday Night. Which in this case is the 27th So if you don't believe it then don't go shouting your pointless noncence reasons as to why at me. After all try turning a line - into a 5,6,8 and 9 starting at the end of the line :p

Thanks diff for proving my point :p :D

Edit: Also i should add on why would he release a picture with the submission date. When that has no interest to people what so ever?
