Seems pretty weird they would even consider writing "July 2X" and still not be able to make even that deadline. EDIT: Where on the Facebook page does it say that? I really don't see anything.

Well, on the assumption that it wont be out this week, that means it will be, at 99.99% chance, to be released next week. Because its the last set of 20's for July. I just hope that there wont be any delays this time..

This is the only other App Store game I'm looking forward to at the moment. I wonder how much they are going to charge for it. Hopefully no more than FFIII. $15.99 sounds about right to me and I would pay it even though I own the PSX and PSP versions of the game already.

This is like World of Goo all over again for me! I've never even played the game, I have no idea what to expect, I've never even played a Final Fantasy, yet the whirlwind of hype is making me so freaking excited for this game's release!
You're not missing much. The best Final Fantasy game in a lot of years wasn't actually even Final Fantasy... That title belongs to Lost Odyssey (the 4 disc epic game from creator of Final Fantasy Hironobuo Sacaguchi) which was and is, an XBox 360 exclusive. The game is just awesome flat-out! Lost oddessy over Final Fantasy. Have you seen your pysch this week. Seriously Lost Oddesy is a penny in the pond compared to the old square titles which are silver dollars(hell $50 pieces imho)
Lost Odyssey over new Final Fantasy for sure. Helps that it was made by 2/3 of the dream team behind the same classics you are referencing as it's betters. The core series these days has overblown and nonsensical stories, senseless designs meant to sell to cosplayers, has an over-obsession with bishounen, and is in loooove with MMORPG concepts.
