If they're going on Thursday releases then it might be this week - remember the picture where the guy was drawing a second number after 2? Looked like a 1 to me...

Personally I thought it looked like a 7. July 27 wouldn't be too bad I suppose....unless they decide to delay it again. Honestly, I can't see how it got delayed this much. I mean, a year ago they said the end of the year but then it's *hopefully* coming out this month. What could have popped up that could make it get delayed 7 months?
I agree with that. We still havent even seen gameplay videos released yet. I think if they are trying for a release next week, we will see a push this week. At least, I think it would be smart of them to drum up some media and excitement around it beforehand.
News on the Chaos Rings front, but nothing new about FFT, makes me nervous about it not coming out on time(again).
That's because FFT was already announced. Chaos Rings II news has never been accompanied by screenshots before.
Just came out for the PSP on the PSN Store, 9.99. Will probably cost that much for the iPhone or at least close to it.
It would be awesome if that's how much they charged for the game. I'd find it unjust if they decided to charge as much as they did for FFIII considering they're selling FFT on other consoles for less. Looking forward to it.
Those other versions are simply ports and do not have an additional touch interface added on. I bet the iOS version costs more than the ports.

it would be really cool if they did, and their games usually do go on sale when a new one is released. I already bought FFIII, but the more people that get it the better, it's a sweet game and a great version of it. Myself, I plan on grabbing Chaos Rings if it goes on sale.
I'd honestly be surprised if this came out at 10 bucks. Doesn't mean we can't be optimistic about it. We will find out in the NZ App Store soon, though.
Not all games premiere on the NZ App Store; if I recall correctly Square Enix's Secret of Mana showed up internationally at one random time (a weekend day). ...but Chaos Rings Omega did show up first in NZ.
Central time is 17 hours behind NZ time. NZ threads start popping up at 7 am here in Texas, while games launch at 10 pm, which is 11 pm eastern time (just in case people don't know US time zones either).
Secret of mana released in NZ first too. Only difference was that it didnt release on a thursday but on a tuesday instead. And that was because iTunes connect was going to be down on next thursday (xmas holidays).
