They've said before that there will be a separate app for the iPad that will be released about a month after the iPhone release.

They did delay the release date few times. Welp, at least it's not Duke-Nukem-Forever long. Looks like this time they won't delay it again.

AAAAARRGGGGHHHHHH, can't take the waiting any longer!!!

    GIMME MA FINAL FANTAZIEZ TICTACZ!!!!!

    *goes mental*

On a serious note: I really hope they've used their time well and make it an awesome port. Touch controls could be so much more awesome for a tactics game than a d-pad...

PS let's all pray for a Tactics Ogre iOS version after this.

I just finish the L line of Tactics Ogre on PSP, which is really great game and its really a time killer. I think it'll take me another 250+ hrs to finish N and C line.

I believe ppl will like this one more if there is a iOS version.

I played FFT on PS and on PSP again. I still wanna replay it on iPhone or iPad. But I really wish SE can bring sth new in it. Like different endings after the 1st round or some secret places unlock in the 2nd round.

Unfortunately, SE has stated that they have no plans for additional content at this time. I too think that even adding it later as DLC would be a huge success. I think that the play mechanics of FFT is solid enough that they could use it to add more content, stories and characters. Time will tell. As it is, I will be pumped just to have it on my phone!

im counting down the days to this game. I have only played Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and A2. Is this one better than those. I absolutely loved them.

I loved FFTA and FFTA2! I remember playing 120hours with one savefile (clan Kung Pow!) on my good ol' GBA SP.

FFT is a much deeper gameplay experience than the advance counterparts, especially in the story. I would say the complexity of the character development is roughly the same, so no concerns there. I felt like the random battle difficulty in FFT was much harder than the Advance versions as well. If you liked those two games, you should really love this one :)

Looks like IGN(?) made an error on their page. SE corrected it on their FB page and they said it was supposed to be "Later this month", than year.

Hopefully, we'll be waiting for it, ~2 weeks at max.. hopefully..

Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together is an amazing game. This is what FF Tactics War of the Lions on the PSP should've been. They added so much content, visuals, mechanics, and features to the remake of the original title. If anyone is a FF Tactics fan and owns a PSP, you really need to play Tactics Ogre. Same creators, just Tactics Ogre is older than Final Fantasy Tactics.

I hope this game comes out soon, I really want it on my iPod but I don't know when I'll get around to playing it since Tactics Ogre is eating up a lot of my time.

Final Fantasy Tactics ~ June 2...7th?

Since I rather enjoyed stalking the previous thread until it broke (Page 54 will not load it just redirects to page 53) I figured I might as well start a new one!

Last news post concerning what will assuredly be an amazing game: Square Enix delays Final Fantasy Tactics again, the gaming world weeps(I added the last bit)

So sure, it will likely cost more than your average iOS game, but if it delivers a full length experience of old school console gaming then I really can't complain with the price, though I am sure many will.

    ...DISCUSS!!!!

The last thread is still fine, the fact that the last page won't load doesn't mean it's hiding any replies.
