I'm not sure what you mean by features, but we won't know for sure till it's released. They have said it's WOTL, so I am assuming a port of the PSP release with a touch control added in. I doubt anything has been added or removed, but we really won't know until it's in our hands, or SE suddenly decides to release a bunch of info about it.

That is what I meant, this is for sure WotL right?

I just am wondering b/c I believe you can still buy the orig FFT for PSX for 29.99 on the PSX store, or maybe they changed the price IDK. It seems low though.

The PSN version is the PSX release. I am unsure if the PSP version is available for download or what the current price is, but the PSX version on the PSN is $10.

The iOS release is the WOTL release.

I guess so. I checked my PS acct and indeed see a charge for 9.99. I could've sworn it was 29.99 or 19.99. I guess I might've been thinking of the wonderful game of Flowers! lol.

But yeah, then the price tag is pretty reasonable.

Wait a sec, these forum guys seem to have confused the $ for an €. So they say it's coming for US$14.99, 15 bucks.
I tried to google that price and FFT for iPhone and I found the same price in the Rumour Mine.
Hm... $14.99 would be a steal for this gem.

Hopefully this is true it would make my day. As much as I want to buy this Im gona hold off for the HD version, which I'm hoping will follow soon or even better a simultaneous release like how they did with omega!

I have never "touched" such games, I don't have any idea what it is about, so forgive me for my question: is your statement true, is $15 a steal for this game(always taking into consideration the iOS pricing, don't judge me  )

i hope it is 14.99 or less ... but for more than that..it wont survive in app store.. as i always say every store has its pricing and has its rules. whatever for psx cant work for appstore,,,
any way i know how price will be...it will be like FF3 or chaos omega

    iphone 14.99$ ipad 16.99$ ! or iphone 12.99 and ipad 14.99

but ofcourse u can wait and get it later when it goes on sale especially people who played it on any previous console..because all SE have gone on sale ... just wait when they release a new game ...all their other games will go on sale ..( check appshopper if u dont trust me as nearly all their games includind ff1 ff2 chaos , bla ,bla ,bla) or wiat for a special day like black firday, chrismas or any event loool

Yes. First of all, this SRPG is one among the best with gigantic content.
A huge strategy game, very tactical and with a heavy roleplaying note and a first-class story.
Moreover, it was sold on other consoles for 40-50$.
Last but not least, it's from Square / Enix. You can't normally go wrong with them.

@RivozzzZzzZzz: give it up already, you are always using the same lame and old arguments. And S/E surely don't need the Appstore to survive. That's pocket money for them. So they can do how they like.
S/E games tend to go on sale 10-12 month after release, btw. So if you wanna wait another year, have fun.

FACE IT... its not an old argument ..its your Lame deception.. because why do u think are big companies including gameloft , EA, Chilningo , SE have all their games very cheap on IOS and very expensive on Other console ..beacause its appstore rules..accept it or get doomed... ARE YOU acting asif you are blind or faking you dont know prices?? Hey you are Vovin and u must know all this from yr contributions on TA... WHAT i dont understand why you always try to hide this fact that make me doubt sometimes your are promoting these apps ..that my only explanation although i know it is not true ...

A bakery makes fresh and very good cakes which are well worth 10$.
But they only sell a few, so they decide to sell the rest for 5$.
They think about this and decide to make cakes which are only worth 5$.
But they only sell a few, so... you get the idea.

I'd think you have to consider the quality of games too. Don't get me wrong, chillingo makes games that are very fun for casual gamers. EA/GL have some fundamental flaws with their business model/iPhone games. Some are very good, while other do not translate well. I have bought many EA games for .99 that are horrible. I have yet to buy an EA game full-price either, as they constantly are going on sale. Same for GL.

SE has been smart, they barely put their games on sale so most people will not always wait for the sale and buy the game full-price. Even though SE does less volume, I would assume that their profit margin is competitive with the other companies due to their higher prices. FFT is priced really well for $15 and it will do well on the market. I think since many people regard FF7-9 and FFT as the must-play classic PSX games both old and newer generations want to play these games.

Just because other companies do it doesn't mean it's the only way or the best way. Besides all that, I challenge you to provide financial information showing the profit margins of the race to the bottom on app store prices. Then show me the profitability of the SE iOS projects. That way you can either prove or disprove your argument with anything other than anecdotal arguments.

Check that IGN list out man:

It also states Monster Hunter and Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing will be out on 30th...sigh...I would read that list with a hugh gain for salt...

As for the price, I think it will be about the price of FF3. And SE still does cut their game prices, just not as frequent as EA and Gameloft et al. SE normally does that when new titles of the series is out, say FF1, FF2 got cut when FF3 was out, and so on. Also during big season (a la Xmas). I have a lot of games to finish, unless they adopt that introductory price tactics, my purse is never too heavy to carry around, my $.02.
