Again you are so naive !! you say SE not a top seller in the top 25 !! Well unless you dont follow the charts dont make fast decisions so you appear as dumb !! because if you follow the charts, you will find that SE many titles as FF1 and FF2 and Choas rings and...have conquered many times the top 25 ..in fact the past 3 games have been for long times in top 5 apps of Role playing ... and to conquer this positions with this very high prices for their games 8.99 for ff1 ff2 and 12.99 for chaos rings thats was a blast especially for chaos rings..no games were priced at 12.99 at that time but this did and they conquered the charts by the way it is doing very top sales and is investing greatly on IOS and i dont know what the hell is your Internet superiority you mentioned..lol
I don't see why it matters if they are in the top25 when these games are 10fold the price of normal games. Even if they sell 10x the amount less of other games, they are still doing pretty well in the market and SE is making a nice profit. SE will do what they want to do, just like they always have.

agree 100% but some people here..think SE is losing and not making much profit and we have to support SE so that they can make something for IOS... Well that thinking makes me laugh because SE is rushing with many games on ios and making hell alot of money !
SE is not losing money. The games are also released in jp market, correct? I would wager the games might even do better over there, too. These games do well because like unlike physical copies, there isn't a limited amount out there/a limited amount of time you can buy the game. FFT has been out for a long time and SE has made multiple releases of FFT, so even if the game isn't a smash hit, in the long run it'll eventually make money, and florhackson, I wasn't singling you out. I was just saying in general, people treat FF7 like it is the holy grail of RPGs. I do not believe it has anything to do w/ the futuristic setting, I believe it is b/c of the storyline and also it being the first RPG that a lot of folks played. I could care less if FF7 ever came to iPhone, i'd actually prefer FF6 or 9 over it. And there are tons of other RPGs that should be ported before FF7 does, that is sorta my point.
to be honest most of us here can already play all of these older final fantasies on our jailbroken devices. ive had tactics on my phone for a year now...and have already beat ff7 using the ps1 emulator.
Not everyone has or wants jailbroken device. And this FFT release is for the iOS with a new control scheme and optimizations for the device. I would rather wait and pay for that than jailbreak my phone and play an emulated version.
Plus i don't think TA like people giving reasons as to why you should Jailbreak. It may be legal in the US but in other countries it is not and TA could get in some trouble.

Unfortunately, it's not coming out in June. Their rep on the SE DLG Facebook page said it was not done yet and not submitted to Apple for approval as of last week. They said a June release will not likely happen but the end of July is more likely.
I do not understand what is taking SE so damn long to release this game for the IOS. With all the delays and lack of comments regarding the status of Final Fantasy Tactics is really annoying a lot of people. I have been trying to search for any news daily about the upcoming release but have not found specific info. Someone mentioned that IGN said it will be released on June 30th (This Thursday) but as I searched there is nothing metioning or supporting that comment. I, like many can not wait for this to be released and I am not going to jailbreak just to play it on a emulator. The more SE delays and leaves its fan base in the dark, the more this game better impress or their "hype" will back fire on them. HURRY THE HELL UP SQUARE ENIX. -random- CAPCOM should remake "Destiny of an Emperor" for the IOS. Very cool game
So what's Tactics like--I have played all the other FF games? Tactics --just by title---sounds like a different kind of game.
It is a turn-based strategy game. Maps are 3D and split into tiles with various heights and hazards. Character classes are classic FF: white/black mage, thief, monk, dragoon and more. Watching a video of gameplay on YouTube will give a good idea of how combat works. It is set in Ivalice and has a deep amount of story and character customization. It is in the vein on Shining Force, Front Mission, etc.
