Perfect! After getting into TBS strategy genre on the Touch, I had a hunkering to try a SRPG next and Square will deliver! Maybe I'll even manage to finish Wesnoth before it comes out!
*faints* OMG... an exclusive FF series title... FF Tactics... Secret of Mana... I was right about declaring myself S/E fanboy as the first two FF's came up.
though i love the tactical mini-game in Suikoden 2,i haven't played any other tactical games.I tried one FF:Tactics but i didn't have much fun but i'm definitely looking forward to this i love SE on the iDevice NOW! this might get me to this genre
*head explodes* The one game I wished would come to the touch when S/E first started releasing games for it, is now coming!!! September is too freaking far away =[
Technically, War of Lions was developed for the PSP. Of course, FFT itself is available in many platforms.
I know, but he said exclusive, I was wondering if there was another FF announced that I was unaware of, since FFT isn't exclusive.
I'm sure the Antici.............pation will be exquisite hahaha I learned long ago to type without looking or thinking?
No, I wasn't! Shortly after Chaos Rings release, S/E announced over Twitter: "an exclusive FF title for the iPhone in early winter 2010" and Pocket Gamer came up with the following: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Various/The+Rumour+Mine/feature.asp?c=19220 If you take into account that every major handheld got its own exclusive FF title, it's absolutely possible for the iPhone, too. Especially when you look at Chaos Rings huge success.
@squarezero Final Fantasy Tactics The war of the lions wasn't developed exclusively for the PSP it was a port from the PS1 that they enhanced. Developed being the key word there. If you mean it was only avaliable on the PSP then I suppose you are correct. Looking forward to the game. Also in regards to whoever mention the slowdown with the spell casting that has been present since the original release of the game, would be nice if they fixed it though.
The War of Lions version (which is significantly different from the PS1 version) was developed specifically for the PSP. From Wikipedia:
