Hasn't been delayed for a month? What do you mean? I would love them to port: - Chrono Trigger (A MUST!) - Final Fantasy 3-6 - And maybe as we get iPhone 5 or 6 with better hardware, Final Fantasy 7-9! LOLZ And I would love to see games developed for iOS like Chaos Rings (it is a great game right? no argument there!), with CR being so successful, I reckon they will make more games, if not a sequel to CR (though the story would suck, since CR's ending is brilliant).
if SE wills it we don't need an iPhone 5 for FF 7-9. The iPhone 4 and even the 3Gs is more than enough to handle running those games.
I'm not sure about 8 and 9, But FF7 runs perfectly on Psx4all with the iPhone 4. and just so I dont get any "thats illegal" comments I own and ripped the disk myself
They still have a lot of FF games in their pocket though. The revamped FF4 for DS which has 3d graphics would look fantastic on iPhone, though it would be hard to port since the menu is all over the place in the DS version. Did they remake FF3? Anyway, if there's someone from SE watching this thread, bring more FF titles to iOS please?
maybe u will think to try this psx....square enix has been so slow on releasing games with even no news on when they will release games...but i like a game made for the iphone thats the problem!
It's now been delayed almost 2 months with NO news at all. If this game ever comes out it will be a miracle. I really think they are dangling the news of these remakes like a carrot on a stick to get more people looking at their terrible iOS games like Voice Fantasy or whatever its called. For anyone with an iPhone 4 or iPad, just jailbreak (really simple to do) and get psx4all. It runs FFT beautifully, you just have to have the original PSX disk to get the ISO of. I've started playing it that way and will not buy this game again if ever does come out.
FFXII:Revenant Wings on the DS was a totally different game from the original PS2 version of FFXII, not just a remade version of the original like FF3 and FF4 were on the DS.
yeah after a few plays with voice fanatasy...i said to myself what the hell!!!! it is such a stupid game..i dont know why the released it... and i dont know why they dont want to give us any info..like it will come out at april !!!! anything ..any single news about the progress !!!
So, in a way, you're telling us that voice fantasy is not worth the money? The idea, imo, is pretty cool, though.
I agree and disagree as follows: AGREE: Voice Fantasy is a piece of crap to plunder a few extra bucks from fanboys who will open their wallets to anything from SE with the word "Fantasy" in the title. DISAGREE: Don't compare emulation to a proper port, which is what SE is doing. If SE do it well, it will be much nicer than an emulated PSX game. I would rather wait a few extra months so they can do it properly. Stop being impatient. We have tons of games on iOS to play.
I would honestly really prefer a sequel of some sort rather than a port. FF: Tactics is my favorite game of all time, but I don't see why I 'd want to spend time playing it all over again. I really hope they'd rather develop a sequel or a spin-off.
As long as they keep Cloud Strife in it as a hidden character, I'm more than happy to play FFT all over again. Besides, the graphics look different from the original PS1 game anyhow. You know what they should do? Make more games like Chaos Rings! Original games developed exclusively for the iOS, that's what they should do!
Its not really a piece of crap. They said its a fantasy battle game that uses your voice to control the characters moves. There was no "Travel through 5 different worlds" or " Defeat 5 mystical bosses to save their world" etc. It's simply a battle game that uses your voice. You bought it so thats your choice.
