You can't gosenbach. It's a feature that will get added later on (as well as others like quests). Took months in the JP version from what I understand. And it will be interesting to see what the balance patch does. I have been slacking on elite dungeons so I still have most to do (too busy farming events!)
New update in the AppStore too. I noticed that it fixed the scrolling freeze that was happening on the iPad
Thank god... that was so annoying. Hopefully it also helped the power issues. This app sucks power faster than any of my other apps (even some very graphics heavy games)
Is the Dark Knight supposed to drop only Greater Summon Orbs (4*)? I have been farming it the whole day, trying to get my 10th Summom orb ( 3*) and no luck... And I really want Shiva!
Thanks for your advice. I like offense, so I've been playing with Tidus. @tpianca I don't think so. I've been getting mostly 3* summon orbs from defeating dark knight cecil.
My current party is Tyro, D.Cecil, Cloud, Sephy and Ridia. I think I'm gonna replace D.Cecil with P.Cecil soon tho. Could use another heal option, and he can dish out some melee as well. His limit break seems like it'd be useful as well. Tidus is kinda up in levels too, since I was using him before I got Sephiroth. Does anyone completely NOT use their Tyro? I renamed him Retro but I'll refer to him as Tyro for the sake of minimal confusion.
P Cecil's limit break is really useful and a lot have sweared by it and even call it overpowered. I'm still leveling him up to put him to good use against the FF6 elites. Tyro is in my main team as he's the only user who can heal decently. My main consists of : Cloud (49), Sephiroth (49), Tidus (49), Rydia (49), Tyro (48) Backups : Kain (42), P Cecil (36)
Hmmm nice. We're kinda on the same page with out main parties. Except you have Tidus (who I also like and feel bad benching him lol) Gonna check out P.Cecil soon.
My main is currently Tyro, Rydia, Kain, Tidus, and Seph. All in mid 40s My backups are Tifa, Cloud, both Cecil, and black Mage.... All around 30... And white Mage is mid 20s. I hope to get them all up to 40 via Sunday dungeons over the next 2 weeks so I will have plenty of options moving forward. @tpianca. My sample size is too small to be definitive... But I am getting 4 star orbs about a third of the time so you are actually quite lucky! In the long run you will be glad to have them I bet! So far I have recieved (41) 3 star orbs and (17) 4 star orbs! Only need 3 more 4 star orbs to meet my goals for these first two events (L2 shiva, L1 Ifrit, and enough 4 star orbs for both summons once I get the 4 star elemental orbs). I doubt I will get enough 3 star orbs at this point for ramuh or L2 ifrit... But we will see! And yeah... I have been farming the summoning orbs a little too much...
I heard before that they are supposed to be rare, and that's the thing, I have got 6 or 7 in a row, how's that? I have 9 3-star and 13 4-star right now! Murphy's Law? And every single time I get disappointed to see a gold orb drop... Oh, the irony!
Mastered all the Elite except FF5 North Mountain that I missed because Sleep didn't land. Waiting for Stamina so I can run it again and hopefully tonight we'll get a new event.
Congrats! How much stamina did that leave you with? I'm sitting on 42 and debating if I really need to burn through the elite dungeons for the added stamina (esp since it really just increases how long you can go between play sessions... not how much you can play). Ideally I'd like to wait for the end of this event... but we might be in the middle of the next event by then... and I've already farmed all the summoning orbs I was aiming for.
I also use Tyro. Equipped with a light staff, he's a pretty good healer. Here is my main party: Tyro (41) Cloud (43) Sephiroth (40) Tidus(40) Rydia (44) Pal Cecil and Da Cecil are also pretty awesome. @Rudy Is Baigan easier now after the update?
Question for anyone who played the Japan version. Do these events come back around periodically? I managed to snag both Cecil's but missed out on Sephiroth.
So about 23 hours until the next event? Should be a cake walk with all three of my FF7 characters above level 40. Although this event seems more about using the most stamina possible while the event is available...
