Cecil (both versions) are also SLOW - the slowest of all the non-core characters available right now. Granted, "keeper" isn't exactly speedy himself, but he's worth advancing to max level. Otherwise, I KNOW I'm going to blunder into something like a 5* Harp one of these days and won't be able to do anything with it. Kain's got the second best Defense, the second best Speed, and can jump on stupid "out of range" foes. My best weapon also happens to be an axe, so he and Rydia are more than enough FF4 representation for my party at the moment.
I would love red XII I wouldn't have minded Barrett instead of Tifa because at least that's a range charcater I would love of my team Either him or Vincent, or even Yuffie lmao He'll give my emerald weapon as a playable lol
Aww crap. I just replaced kain with Dcecil and now I'm questioning that decision I hate having options lol
Same here hopefully tidus' weapon is in the next event (that's what I saving up for, unless I somehow get the buster sword).
Am I the only one who has been having issues with not receiving my shards after battles? It's happened twice in 2 days where I didn't get 5x shards, which would have given me full stamina, but nothing. I've also not received other items that were listed in the Rewards section, such as growth eggs during the Shinra tower. It's very frustrating.
Did you master the dungeon? If not you won't receive the mastery rewards which sounds like what happened to you.
Is it a lack of time/stamina or lack of team power? Remember, they'll be giving us a free Mithril a day for the next six days or so as thanks for one million downloads (as mentioned on https://www.facebook.com/FinalFantasyRecordKeeper), so you could always use a few Mithril as Stamina restores (knowing you'll get them "back" from the freebies) if that would be enough to get you to Sephiroth.
I've met the in game criteria for the reward. Last night, I played and mastered Baron Castle for FFIV. The first time reward is 1 Mithril and 5 Stamina Shards. I Mastered the dungeon on my first play through, finished, and did not receive the shards, which would have filled my stamina, being 5 whole stamina shards. It states that I've collected them, but nope.
Still no masamune but managed to get both lustrous shield and dark sword. So my team looks like this now: I love it that the shield gives mind stat. Makes Cecil turn into a viable healer.
Yeah, first time. I thought I'd ask here because I couldn't find anything elsewhere about it. I contacted SE, but haven't gotten a response.
Is there any point to doing the Hard Gil Grasslands once you've mastered it? I feel like I get more gil from doing the Normal level twice since it's the same amount of stamina. I haven't sat down and calculated a difference...
My guess is IAPs. He only has lv39 as the highest, and getting those without IAP is pretty much impossible. Im interested to know how much he forked out for the this though, that is one hell of a well equipped team with subpar skillset.
I did the math - you get at least 30% more Gil (and just a smidge more XP) for doing the Hard levels. It varies a bit based on how many enemies drop Gil each time, of course. [Red Mage Max-Minning On] Let's assume you get 4 "Gil Drops" per section and none of the Worms show up (which give bonus Gil when defeated). A full set on Normal (15 Stamina) will give you 900 x12 = 10800, +5000 Clear Bonus. 15,800 Gil, 1,053 per Stamina Point. A full set on Hard (30 Stamina) will give you 2,700 x 12 = 32400, +11000 Clear Bonus. 43,400 Gil, 1,446 per Stamina Point. [/Red Mage Max-Minning Off] That said, I'm going through with JUST the Keeper at the moment - he can clear the Normal stages all by himself and gets a boosted 4,464 XP every 15 minutes for doing it.
Time/Stamina, but it was also a tough fight that I barely lost but I would have defeated him if I had gotten a second chance. Which I hope happens at some point. UPDATE: Wooot! I just finished it after all! Got a greater summoning orb as well.
