Yeah I am still a ways off from curaga. Congrats you two! I got cura to L2 and made shiva today though which I am pretty stoked about. More than halfway to ifrit as well (need one more fire orb... And 5 summoning orbs) @Montanx I am using Kain, Tyro, Rydia, Seph, and Tidus. I would prefer cloud to Kain at this point but can't focus on leveling cloud right now and am committed to kain at the moment. More important to chug ahead with getting a L50 squad. I am going to level cloud up on Sunday's though... So I would swap out kain for Seph.. Barring a good relic drop. Once cloud catches up to kain I will be making the switch. maybe by then we will have even more options! Looking forward to next event!
There's a new event announced! By the description, it should be the conversion of Dark Cecil to Paladin, isn't it? I have mixed feelings about it starting tomorrow tough... Two at once!
After using Shiva a few times, share your opinion about it. Im curious about its performance with the 1 use limit. Shaun said it was extremely powerful, but its still 1 cast so Im curious about the viability of it this early in the game (of course after honing it will be great)
Nothing wrong with two at once. I've had nothing to do but try to grind the elite stages for a while. Something new is good, I need more mithril
If it's the same as the first two times, masamune is going away and being replaced with dark Cecil's wep. Obviously masamune would be awesome but I heard dark Cecil is a crowd favorite too.
Yay! Got Sephiroth! Was afraid I would miss this opportunity and have to wait got knows how long to get him again.
My level 35 Rydia does about 3400 damage to Rufus and night raid which is about 2.5x the damage my thundara does... But to everyone at the same time which is great. It is awesome vs boss mobs... Probably will sub it out against solo bosses. After using it I likely will try to make it level 2 before making ifrit. Should make it more useful to have 2 uses! And hooray new event! Even though that really messes with my plans for summoning orb farming! And congrats xexist!
Nope,not a bean,completed all regular dungeons and a few elites and used Mythril only on relic pulls. Think I had one 4 star equip,poor luck!
Was comparing the Jap version, seems that the upcoming Cecil event was the first event over there. Sephi and Tifa was the 2nd. Possibly the upcoming event could be a breeze since our party would be higher level compared to when it first came out in Japan
In the new dungeon fire is the element you need like Thunder was in the last one. Read that online last night when I looked it up so last night worked on getting my fire up to speed.
Yup, but there's a boss that has the bonus : do not use fire but holy attacks. On another side note, anyone tried using Gravity on bosses before? Wondering whether it works
Got Sepiroth this morning,just in time for the new event by the looks of it! Still need to master Rufus for the protect ring,sleep and silence tactics didn't work great for me but think I was unlucky with them hitting.Dont have the orbs for the dark attack yet but hear that's probably the best way to do it?
I just had to redo as well and i got it. Use blind on Rufus and attack the wolf first and defeat him before you ever hit Rufus. Also fire works well, I used Fira with Rydia to deliver some big blows. Good luck! Oh and I got it even though I had one person killed and I had two others that were one hit away from the grave, got lucky.
Yeah, so basically this Event covers the section of FF4 where Cecil becomes a Paladin. Mountain full of zombies and all that. One of the bosses is Scarmiglione, and he is vulnerable to fire. For holy attacks, since I don't think "Holy" itself is in the game yet, don't forget that you can target an enemy and cast cure on them.
Thanks for clearing that up Shaun Cuz I'm thinking what holy attacks do I have... Cura should work good. What time us eastern is the new dungeon coming down?
Does anyone know where i can grab up lesser summons orbs I have 9 but I am one short of being able to create two more summons. I am just curious if there is a specific area that will give this out more often, thanks
Will be redoing to make sure I get the protect ring. Am I right in thinking only Dark attack inflicts blind at the mo as I can't see a specific blind magic yet?
I have it it's called blinda to be exact and I have it equipped on Record Keeper but heres the deal you can still do it without the blinda it just helps.
